Actitudes rigoristas en la Iglesia
Me gusta comenzar este articulito diciendo que “Jesús no fue rigorista”. Al contrario; supo distinguir muy bien entre lo que eran leyes generales y lo que eran circunstancias especiales. Guardar el “sábado”, era bueno, porque el hombre necesita el descanso semanal. Pero por encima de ese descanso están las necesidades urgentes de las personas. Que no está hecho el hombre para someterse irracionalmente a la ley, sino que la ley debe estar a favor del hombre. Cristo fue el gran trasgresor de la ley, sin despreciarla. Es más importante la voluntad de Dios que la ley de los hombres.
Acabo de leer en Ecclesalia un articulito de Juan Piña que refuerza mi pensamiento sobre el uso del “preservativo” en circunstancias especiales. Entresaco unos párrafos:

Tampoco sé qué extraña regla de tres rige la ecuación por la que quienes están en la brecha, donde se palpa y siente el sufrir de la gente, tienen la clarividencia de recordar que el sábado está hecho para el hombre y no al revés, mientras que los sesudos ocupantes de “las cátedras de Moisés” lo siguen olvidando”.
La verdad es que el Papa parece ser que ha insistido en su viaje a África, en la prohibición del uso del preservativo. Precisamente en África, donde hay tantos millones de gente (muchos jóvenes) afectados por el sida.
Creo que dejando en pie la prohibición como criterio general y en circunstancias normales, habría que ser más indulgente en las circunstancias del país africano, donde el sida produce tan grandes desastres. “A grandes males, grandes remedios”. Algunos dicen: si la Iglesia es una, debe ser para todos igual. Pero no se puede tratar igual a lo que es desigual. Y el hecho de que la Iglesia sea una no obsta para que sea plural.
Un poco menos de rigorismo le sentaría muy bien a la iglesia.
¿Cuándo va a entender la Iglesia que el “Creced y multiplicaos” ha sido superado por la “Multiplicación de los panes y los peces”?
El Reino de Dios no va a venir a través de un calendario de ovulación. Ha comenzado con cada hombre que atiende los problemas de otro hombre.
Alimentación, Salud, Educación, Justicia, Paz. ¡Esto es lo que hay que multiplicar! y sólo habrá milagro cuando nos dispongamos a repartir.
