Relatos de Pascua
En el encuentro con las personas que se han dejado afectar por el misterio pascual, nos encontramos, de alguna manera, con Cristo Resucitado. Hace poco tuve ocasión de bautizar a una niña, la tercera hija de un matrimonio, mejor dicho, la cuarta. A este joven matrimonio los casé hace unos años y, más tarde, les he ido siguiendo o nos hemos ido siguiendo la pista a lo largo del tiempo. Después de la boda, de la fiesta, de la alegría, llegó una alegría mayor: el nacimiento de su primer hijo. Un niño deseado, precioso, como dice su madre, “un ángel”. Este bebé, por una pequeña complicación, murió a los pocos días de nacer. Vi a los padres, ante tan grave situación, desolados pero agarrados a la fe. Hoy, con sus tres hijas, son una familia feliz. Creían que ya había llegado el momento de comunicarle a las niñas la existencia de ese “ángel” en la familia. Y decidieron contárselo el Domingo de Resurrección. La madre me escribió compartiendo cómo había ido todo y me indicaba que le gustaría que esta historia sirviera para animar a otros en el camino de la fe (omito los nombres, pues lo esencial es el relato, el diálogo y el propio testimonio). Dejemos que hablen la madre y las hijas.
Fue el Domingo de Resurrección cuando pensé que era un maravilloso día para hablarle a las niñas de su hermano. Después de leer juntas un cuento que eligió mi hija mayor, sin prisas, porque no había que madrugar, cogí una foto del niño y se la enseñé. Les dije que era su hermano.
– ¿Y dónde está mamá? – me preguntó mi hija mayor.
– En el cielo, con Jesús – le respondí.
– ¿Por qué está allí? – insistió.
– Resulta que Jesús tuvo que formar un equipo de ángeles de la guarda, para que trabajasen con él ayudando a todos aquellos que lo necesitan (y a los que no creen que lo necesitan, también), y tu hermano era un niño tan bueno, que lo eligió – le expliqué.
– ¿Y quién le cuida?, ¿le dan de comer? – proseguía mi pequeña.
– Pues claro. Cuando rezamos, decimos: Virgencita María, Madre de Dios y mía…, pues la mejor de las madres le cuida, la madre de todos: la Virgen María – le expliqué.
Ahora todas las noches, cuando rezamos también nos acordamos de él; ya saben que tienen un hermano en el cielo. Hace tres días, el 14 de abril, hubiera cumplido siete años. Y aunque sé que no puedo ser egoísta y que hay otras muchísimas personas que viven realidades muy duras día a día, y que ni debo, ni tengo derecho a quejarme, no puedo evitar sentir, como si llevase una especie de collar imaginario, que cuando veo algún niño de la edad que ahora tendría el mío, me aprieta en la garganta como un nudo…
Con la Resurrección del Señor Jesús hemos entrado en un tiempo nuevo. Su despedida no es un final sino un retorno, porque el Amor tiene la última palabra y vence todas las barreras –las de fuera y las de dentro que, a veces, son todavía más complicadas-. En este mes de mayo contamos, además, con la oportunidad de acoger este misterio de la Vida contemplando a nuestra Madre, la Virgen María, modelo de fe y de amor para todos nosotros. Seguro que así podremos contar y comunicar nuestros propios relatos de Pascua, de Resurrección.
