Lamento enormemente la interpretación que se ha hecho de mi articulito, titulado “¿Dónde está el cacareado instinto maternal?”. Ni ha sido mi intención molestar a nadie, ni a nadie en él se manda al infierno, ni a la cárcel, ni…
Lo único que deseaba expresar (tal vez no lo he conseguido) era que a la hora de enjuiciar el tema del aborto, no había que fijarse sola y exclusivamente, en el derecho de la madre. El niño nonato tiene también unos derechos como persona. Y entre todos ellos está el derecho a vivir. El derecho a que se le respete una vida incipiente, pero vida propia, aunque dependiente.
Si se sigue un poco el tratamiento del tema de cara a la aprobación de nuevos supuestos en el mundillo político, se dará uno cuenta de que se insiste casi solamente en el argumento del derecho de la madre. Y no me parece justo que siendo un problema de dos personas (madre e hijo), ambos con derechos, sólo se tenga en cuenta el de una parte. Y no la del más débil.
Por otra parte, al hablar del “cacareado instinto maternal”, no quiero decir que en la mayoría de las madres no exista dicho instinto; pero sí que existen madres desnaturalizadas a las que les falta ese instinto maternal (o al menos lo parece), como también hay padres desnaturalizados que no quieren a sus hijos. Afirmar algo de algunos, no significa afirmarlo de todos. Esa globalización es, al menos, equivocada, si no malintencionada. Si se tiene la curiosidad de buscar en el diccionario la palabra “cacarear”, en su sentido figurado y familiar, se encontrará con la siguiente definición: ”Ponderar excesivamente las cosas propias”. En ningún caso es un término peyorativo. Expresa, más bien, alguna exageración, y nada más. De todas formas, si la palabra molesta o es causa de polémica, yo la retiro sin ningún problema. No busco pelea.
Resumiendo:
- He querido simplemente destacar el derecho a la vida del niño no nacido, sin negar los derechos que tenga la madre. Ambos deben tenerse en cuenta a la hora de legislar.
- No he hecho ni quiero hacer ningún juicio condenatorio para las que deciden abortar.
- Jamás me permitiría hablar mal de las madres, aunque reconozca que algunas no actúen bien, según mi criterio, que tengo derecho a tener y expresar.
- Creo que leído el artículo con serenidad y sin apasionamiento, no hay motivos suficientes, independientemente de estar o no en desacuerdo, para reaccionar con cierta agresividad que me parece apreciar en algunos de los comentarios.
- Quiero decir, también, que en absoluto he pretendido ofender a nadie, y que respeto otras opiniones no coincidentes con las mías. Y si alguien se ha sentido ofendida, les pido mis excusas, aunque no haya sido mi intención ofender. Si de algo me suelen acusar, a veces, es de ser demasiado tolerante con las ideas y actuaciones de otras personas.
- Deseo expresar mi agradecimiento a las personas que han hecho alguno de los comentarios en el blog, sobre el artículo que nos ocupa, porque sus ideas favorables o contrarias, me ayudan a revisar mis propias ideas, y me animan a seguir escribiendo sabiendo que alguien lo lee.
- Y por último, quiero dejar claro que no deseo entablar ninguna polémica. Por lo que ésta será mi última respuesta a los comentarios que puedan hacerse en adelante respecto al tema.
