Dios, circo y rompecabezas
Las vacaciones se adelantaron por la “influencia de la influenza”. El 
pueblo se encuentra semi-vacío; la mayoría de los jóvenes, adolescentes y niñ@s que vienen de los sectores para estudiar se han ido a sus chacras a ayudar a sus padres en el trabajo del campo. Ha estado lloviendo bastante, la gente comenta que eso no es normal, el tiempo está cambiando, la lluvia no permite trabajar bien en la chacra, aunque con lluvia y todo igual se las ingenian para trabajar. Eso a mediano plazo trae sus consecuencias en la salud.
El sol es anhelado, me comentaba Braulio que él iba a hacer una “quintusca” para que parara de llover y así como él, seguramente varias personas harían lo mismo. La quintusca es una ceremonia andina de ruego y agradecimiento a la madre tierra, la “Pacha Mama” donde se utiliza la hoja sagrada de coca entre otras cosas.
Parece que sus ruegos fueron escuchados, el sol volvió a aparecer, el tiempo cambió favorablemente. Sin duda la gente recibió el sol como una bendición ya que les permitió secar su café y su hoja de coca.
En el pueblo, la mayoría de las pensiones se encuentran cerradas, unas cuantas preparan comida para la gente que ha quedado.
L@s profesores han salido de vacaciones, algun@s a la sierra con su familia, y otros a sus chacras.
Ha venido un circo pueblerino que se ha instalado en una orilla del pueblo, es la novedad; los niñ@s y los adult@s han acudido a divertirse un rato; nosotras no hemos podido ir, l@s niñ@s no se cansan de invitarnos; ya habíamos decidido ir pero se nos fueron presentando situaciones que atender en la parroquia, como escuchar a una persona o atender algún caso, visitar a una enferma, además de lo ya programado como la visita a uno de los sectores.
Total que no pudimos ir al circo, pero por las tardes-noches, cuando nos disponemos a orar en comunidad, el circo nos recordaba que ahí seguía, pues su música y sus anuncios nos acompañan en la oración.
Un buen grupito de niñ@s nos visitan todos los días en la mañana y en la tarde a la casa, vienen a armar rompecabezas que les prestamos; ya los conocen de memoria, sin embargo sigue siendo una diversión para ell@s.
El domingo 26 tuvimos una celebración significativa, cinco niños y dos niñas recibieron el sacramento del bautismo, Nélida ss.cc. los preparó en la escuela del pueblo. Sorprendentemente los padres y madres de estos niñ@s respondieron a los encuentros de preparación, la celebración fue participativa, desde la preparación y arreglo de la capilla. El coro como cada domingo tenía nuevos miembros, esta vez contamos con la presencia de dos chicos chilenos que nos visitaban y de un prenovicio ss.cc., ellos apoyaron tocando algunos instrumentos.
Para nosotras Dios se hace presente en lo cotidiano y sencillo de la vida: en una mujer que viene a contarnos su situación de abandono; en una niña pequeña que intenta armar un rompecabezas; en los niños que vienen a trepar el árbol de naranja; en las visitas que recibimos, en los enfermos del centro de salud, en el ruido del río, en la lluvia y el sol, en el barro del camino … en fin… es un Dios con nosotras que se hace uno mas del valle.
