Dios que no existes, te ruego…
Con este título, Lucía Bellaspiga ha publicado un libro en la editorial italiana Ancora, con el sugerente título:”Dios que no existes, te ruego”…; y lleva como subtítulo: “Dino Buzzati, la fatiga de creer”.
Tanto el título como el subtítulo me dan pie a una reflexión. En tiempos no muy lejanos se habló de la teología de la “muerte de Dios”. Pasó la euforia de esa pretendida muerte, aunque persistan los nostálgicos (los que quisieran que fuese así, pero saben que no lo es). Hoy podemos hablar, con más realismo, del “eclipse de Dios”. No hace mucho, hemos asistido a un eclipse total de luna, viendo cómo, poco a poco, iba desapareciendo de nuestra vista. No la veíamos, pero estábamos seguros de que estaba allí. Simplemente un eclipse temporal.
Tanto en la sociedad como en las personas individuales, se da el “eclipse de Dios”. No porque Dios se oculte (está ahí, como la luna) sino porque nos empeñamos en poner obstáculos que nos oculten su presencia.
En el prólogo al libro citado, escrito por el psiquiatra Vittorino Andreoli, se hace la siguiente afirmación: ”Creer no es demostrar a Dios, sino encontrarlo”. Dios escondido (como la luna), jugando al escondite (como los niños), para que creer sea más divertido, para que entren en juego, no sólo las pistas que va dejando Él, sino también nuestra búsqueda; a veces cómoda y otras veces fatigosa. Pero que siempre que no abandonemos, tendremos la recompensa del encuentro.
El protagonista del libro, Buzzati, era ateo, pero seguía buscando a Dios por si en cualquier esquina del camino se lo encontraba: Dios que no existes, te ruego…
Yo he visto a no poca gente para quienes “creer era una verdadera fatiga; pero que, a pesar de todo, seguían diciendo (y eso me ha edificado): Dios que no existes, te ruego…que es un forma implícita de creer. Nadie ruega, ni se dirige a un inexistente. Y seguro que la honestidad y fidelidad del “buscador”, acabará por encontrar a ese Dios “que sí existe”. Pero también hay “creyentes” que dicen que no encuentran a Dios. Y yo pienso que es que le buscan donde no está. Que lo busquen en la misma vida, en el correr de cada día… Seguro que no tardarán en encontrarlo en cualquier recodo del camino. Y aunque parezca un contrasentido, diré que a Dios no le vemos, pero no es invisible.
