Las abuelas nos unen

logoondacadizAyer estuve en “Buenos días”, en el bloque literario que semanalmente dedica este espacio de Onda Cádiz TV. Tratamos varios asuntos: de cómo anda la lectura y la cultura en nuestro país, de literatura y transformación de la realidad, de unos “reporteros” muy especiales -los misioneros-… También era la primera vez que hablaba de mi nuevo cuento: “Lipi, de la Sierra de Cádiz a Mozambique”.

Me tocó de compañera de micrófono una editora que se declaró anarquista, que vive en un barrio madrileño olvidado que se organiza muy bien, sin necesidad de ninguna institución, ya sea pública o eclesial. Lamentaba el nihilismo imperante en nuestra sociedad. El nihilismo, la falta de valores… A mí ciertas cosas me resonaron a Benedicto XVI. Quizá los extremos puedan tocarse.

Al final nos pidieron que eligiéramos algún texto que nos inspirara. Esta mujer recitó un poema dedicado a una abuela con alzheimer. Y decía que las abuelas son el sustrato de nuestra sociedad y de nuestra cultura. Esas abuelas que vivieron la posguerra y que lucharon por sacar a sus hijos adelante. Esas abuelas autodidactas y mujeres fuertes que se abrieron camino en un mar de obstáculos. Resulta que en mi cuento también son fundamentales las abuelas, que suponen un rico referente y un vehículo de narración para las protagonistas del mismo. Ya veis, las abuelas unen a los diferentes.
