Nuestra Señora del Adviento
María, la Virgen, tiene muchas advocaciones. Unas más populares que otras; pero todas muy hermosas y entrañables, como no podía ser de otra manera, siendo la Madre de Jesús y nuestra Madre. Recuerdo que cuando estuve de rector de nuestro Seminario, les pedí a todos los seminaristas (más de cien), que eran de distintos puntos y pueblos de España, que me diesen por escrito la advocación de la Virgen de su pueblo. Con todas ellas escribí unas letanías que se podían rezar en el rosario, o en otro momento oportuno. Había nombres de lo más curioso o llamativo, desde la “Virgen de los ojos grandes”, hasta “nuestra Señora de la Altagracia”, pasando por un “sin fin” de advocaciones más o menos caprichosas. ¡Lástima que no conserve dicha letanía!
Pero hoy quiero hacer hincapié en una advocación en consonancia con el tiempo que estamos viviendo: “Nuestra Señora de Adviento”. No necesita explicación. Pero quiero trascribir una oración preciosa que he hallado, sobre dicha advocación mariana. Dice así:
“Señora del Adviento, señora de los brazos vacíos, señora de la preñez evidente y extenuante. Cuánto deseamos que camines con nosotros. Cuánto necesitamos de tí. Mujer del pueblo que viajas presurosa y alegre a servir a Isabel, a pesar de tu vientre pesado y fatigoso. Entre las dos tejerán esperanzas y sueños. Señora del Adviento, señora de los brazos vacíos, también nosotros estamos preñados de esperanzas y sueños. Soñamos con que el canto de las aves no vuelva a ser turbado por el ruido de las balas. Soñamos con nuestros niños sin temores, cantando al fruto de tu vientre ya cercano. Soñamos con todos los niños del mundo, durmiendo tranquilos al arrullo de un villancico. Soñamos que nuestros viejos mueren tranquilos y en paz murmurando una oración. Soñamos con que algún día podremos volver a tener sueños y utopías y esperanzas. Señora del Adviento, la de los brazos vacíos, visítanos como a tu prima. Monta tu borriquito y ven presurosa. Nuestros corazones son pesebres huecos y fríos donde hace falta que nazca tu hijo. Ven, señora, con tus gritos de parto a calentar nuestros corazones, a seguir tejiendo esperanzas con nosotros, como lo hiciste con Isabel. Solo así, en medio de la noche iluminada por tus brazos, ahora llenos, y por tus pechos que amamantan, podremos volver a soñar…podremos gritar: ¡es Navidad!”.
El Adviento de María duró nueve meses. Nueve meses de espera y de gozosa esperanza, viviendo cada hora, cada minuto, el don de Dios. ¡Qué diálogos sin palabras mantendría con aquel Hijo que llevaba en sus entrañas, y que era, al mismo tiempo, su Dios y Señor!
Su cuerpo todo, hecho templo de Dios; su vientre, todo él grávido de divinidad y de humanidad, al mismo tiempo. Ella, la esclava del Señor es también la Madre del mismo Señor.
Y su alma toda, llena de gracia, sin pecado, inmaculada…porque nuestra Señora del Adviento, iba a ser, también, nuestra Señora de la Navidad.

Señora del Adviento, eres madre del Hijo Jesús y madre del Hijo que sigue naciendo en cada uno de nosotros, cuando nos hacemos a un lado y dejamos de ser nuestro exigente centro.
Qué buen nombre se da Jesús: El Hijo del Hombre. El Hijo de todos los hombres, incluidos nosotros, en este Adviento abierto a la posibilidad.
Susana: que ese Adviento “abierto a la posibioidad”, nos vaya conduciendo a Belén. Y Belén es humildad, sencille<, amor, paciencia..salvación.
Unámonos a los pastores, vayamos a Belén, y ofrezcámos nuestro corazón; pero limpio de egoísmos y caprichos.
Preparémonos a la venida del Niño Jesús en este adviento, como si fuera su última venida y refugiémonos en el corazón de María Santísima, nuestra Señora del adviento, ella nos enseña a esperar en profunda adoración y silencio… De nuestra preparació depende el el gozo del Niño en esta navidad, el desea corazones sencillos, humildes y obedientes, que con su oración, mortificació y trabajo le ganen almas, es lo que más desea… Feliz Adviento…
