Perdón para el que mucho ama
“Por eso te digo: sus muchos pecados le son perdonados porque tiene mucho amor; pero al que poco se le perdona es porque ama poco” (Del Evangelio de Lucas). Jesús se lo dice al fariseo que le había invitado a comer en su casa, y se refiere a la mujer “pecadora”, que irrumpe, arrepentida, en la sala del banquete, arrojándose a los pies de Jesús. Pedro, en su Primera Carta (4,8) dirá también:”tened entre vosotros un ferviente amor, porque el amor cubre la multitud de pecados”.
A veces lo que llamamos arrepentimiento, o “dolor de los pecados”, puede nacer de sentirse fracasado por no haber sido capaz de comportarse según la conciencia; de sentir el malestar de haber fallado. Nada de eso responde a una motivación de amor a Dios. Por eso Jesús habla del perdón por el amor. Nadie que ama de verdad, puede no sentir en su corazón el dolor de haber defraudado o ofendido a la persona amada.
Por eso podemos decir que el verdadero arrepentimiento nace del amor. Y por eso, también, dice Jesús que “al que poco ama, poco se le perdona”.
Jesús terminado su “sermoncito”(parábola) dirigido al fariseo anfitrión, le dice a la mujer: “tu fe te ha salvado, vete en paz”.
“Salvar” y “perdonar”, en este caso, es lo mismo. Dios nos salva, perdonándonos. Nos libera de las cadenas del pecado, nos hace más libres. Por eso añade, dirigiéndose a la pecadora:“vete en paz”. Sólo el que ha sido liberado, el que se siente libre de ataduras, puede poseer la paz. El perdón y la paz van unidos. Como dice el Salmo 84: “la justicia y la paz se besan”.
El recordado Papa Juan Pablo II dijo en cierta ocasión: “Entre la justicia y el perdón no existe contraposición, sino complementariedad, porque ambas actitudes son esenciales para la promoción de la paz, que más que cese temporal de las hostilidades, es la sanación profunda de las heridas que encienden los ánimos. Sólo el perdón puede apagar la sed de venganza y abrir el corazón a una reconciliación auténtica y duradera entre los pueblos”. La verdadera paz en el mundo, explica el Papa, “sólo puede lograrse si se basa en los dos pilares de la justicia y el perdón. De ahí que “no haya paz sin justicia, ni haya justicia sin perdón”.
La justicia de Dios, no coincide siempre con la justicia de los hombres. Dios es justo, porque nos justifica, nos reconcilia, nos perdona. Y todo ello es fruto del amor; lo mismo que el dejarse reconciliar, perdonar, es fruto de nuestro amor a Dios. “Al que mucho ama, mucho se le perdona”.

स्कंद पुराण के अनुसार कार्तिक महीने में कुमार कार्तिकेय ने तारकासुर का वध किया था। भगवान नारायण ने कार्तिक महीने में धरती पर जल में निवास करने की बात देवताओं को बताई थी। इसलिए यह आज परम पवित्र माना जाता है। कार्तिक अमावस्या के दिन दीप दान, सभी तीर्थ स्थानों स्नान करने से अच्छा फल मिलता है।
