Tragedia-drama
Entendemos, literariamente, por “tragedia”, a una pieza literaria dramática, nacida en la antigua Grecia como manifestación teatral, y con desenlace generalmente funesto.
Pero si preguntamos a una serie de familias, qué es una tragedia o un drama, seguramente no hará referencia a una obra literaria. Su respuesta, seguramente, será esta: “Un drama o tragedia, es lo que estamos viviendo en nuestra familia”. Y eso no tiene nada de “manifestación teatral”, aunque sí que tiene un “desenlace funesto”.
Malos tiempos, tiempos recios, son los que estamos viviendo. Los recortes, el paro, los impuestos… la pobreza, está haciendo que muchas familias lo estén pasando mal. Muy mal.
Sólo basta con ver el número de personas que acuden a las Caritas, en demanda de ayuda: comestibles, recibos de luz, de agua, farmacia, etc… Personas y familias que nunca han tenido que pedir, con la consecuente vergüenza de sentirse pobres, cuando nunca han tenido esa amarga experiencia.
Y aún así, a pesar de los esfuerzos, no se puede llegar a todos; ni a los que se atiende, se puede hacer suficientemente.
Pero lo malo, con serlo, no es el presente sólo, sino que además tienen encima la espada de Damocles, porque no se sabe cuánto va a durar esta situación. ¡Malos tiempos!
Y, sin embargo, se siguen dando los aprovechamientos por parte de otros, que tratan de enriquecerse, aprovechándose de la situación. ¡Qué desvergüenza!
Da grima ver llegar a tanta gente a las puertas de caritas. Uno trata de ponerse en su lugar, y pasa vergüenza ajena. Y el corazón se te encoge, y la indignación sube a la mente.
¿Habrá llegado el momento, y la llamada a compartir con más generosidad? Ciertamente se están dando bastantes casos de concienciación y solidaridad. Es el efecto positivo de la crisis. Dice el refrán, que ” no hay mal que por bien no venga”. O sea, que lo malo que te pasa es por algo y porque te traerá algo bueno, una experiencia, un aprendizaje, un cambio, etc. Ojalá todo este dolor sea como los dolores de parto en la mujer, que es el anuncio de que algo muy importante está llegando. Si esta mala y larga racha nos aporta un mayor sentido de solidaridad, de fraternidad, algo bueno habrá producido. Pero, mientras tanto, el sufrimiento de tanta gente, no puede menos de ser un precio muy alto; demasiado alto.
Hemos tenido unos años de bienestar, de gastos incontrolados, de alegría económica, sin contar con las consecuencias. Me viene a la mente la fábula de “la cigarra y la hormiga”, de Esopo. Hemos vivido como la cigarra, y no hemos sabido ahorrar como la hormiga. Y necesariamente, tenía que llegar el “invierno” de las vacas flacas. ¡Que todo ello nos sirva, sirva a nuestros dirigentes, para aprender; aunque sea a costa de que se cumpla el dicho:”para aprender, perder”.
