El evangelio que hoy hemos leído, nos habla de Jesús, como alguien que tiene autoridad, y poder…y que convence.
Cuando llegó a Cafarnaún, y se puso a enseñar en la sinagoga, la gente se quedó asombrada de su doctrina, porque hablaba con autoridad, no como los escribas. Sus palabras convencían. Pero además tenía poder sobre todo lo que hacía sufrir a las personas. Había en la sinagoga un enfermo que además de sufrir él, hacía sufrir a los demás. Jesús lo cura con unas simples palabra:”cállate y sal de él”.
Pero lo que más sobresale de Jesús es su interés por todo aquel que sufre: los enfermos, los marginados, las muchedumbres abandonadas, los más pobres… los pecadores (despreciados y humillados por los que se creían justos).
Y dice el evangelista que “su fama se extendió por todas partes”. Y encontramos natural que así fuera. Una persona que se preocupa mucho por los demás, los ayuda en sus necesidades, los atiende en preocupaciones, y demuestra su interés por sus personas, no puede menos de hacerse conocido. El mundo, nuestra sociedad, nuestro tiempo está demandando personas que estén cerca de los que viven solos, que acojan a los desechados de la sociedad, que se ocupe de los enfermos, que pongan al servicio de los necesitados, sus cualidades , y su cariño.
Hay demasiado egoísmo, demasiados personalismos, demasiada despreocupación por los demás. Y los que queremos seguir de verdad a Jesús, tenemos que dar un cambio para parecernos a él. ¿Os habéis dado cuenta, cómo las personas que se preocupan de los demás, acaban por sorprendernos, y llegamos a admirarlos?
El evangelio, tiene una frase, hablando de Jesús, que le retrata perfectamente. Dice:”Pasó haciendo el bien”. ¿Se puede decir algo más bonito y más aleccionador? Ojalá que algún día se pudiera decir de nosotros, eso: Pasó haciendo el bien. Sería el mejor elogio de nuestro paso por este mundo.
