No somos dueños de nuestra propia vida. Señal de ello es que cuando Dios quiere, se nos acaba. Ni siquiera tenemos dominio pleno sobre ella. No podemos alargarla a nuestro antojo. Si no es nuestra, no podemos gastarla a nuestro capricho, sino según para lo que Dios nos la ha dado. La vida es como un préstamo que se nos hace, pero que tenemos que devolver con sus intereses. Y los intereses son las propias obras buenas.
Hay quien malgasta la vida, y agota el préstamo sin poder devolverlo, porque piensan que con su vida puede hacer lo que quiera. Somos administradores, no dueños. Se equivocan.
