Domingo XX del T.O.
(Yo soy el pan vivo, que ha bajado del cielo)
En estos últimos domingos Jesús nos habla mucho de que él es el pan vivo, que ha bajado del cielo, y el que lo coma tendra vida eterna.
En su vida mortal, en su paso por esta vida, Jesús fue llenando de vida lo que estaba muerto, enfermo, o marginado. Ayudó a recuperarse a mucha gente que vivía en la soledad, la tristeza, el abandon. Ayudó a levantar los ánimos a los que estaban caidos, a recuperar la esperanza a los que la habían perdido, a ver la vida con otros ojos.
Hoy día, también, cuánta gente vive triste, porque no saben supercar las situaciones difíciles de la vida, porque no hay nadie que les dedique una sonrisa, un rato de compañía, una actitud de comprensión, una amitad sincera.
Y muchas veces, las personas que están en esa situacion de desánimo, no saben que hay alguien que es “pan de vida”; alguien que puede suplir lo que les falta.
Pero el pan no alimenta por sí solo, con saberlo en la panera, o verlo encima de la mesa. Hay tomarlo, y hay que comerlo. Sólo así sera alimento que sacia el hambre, y da vida.
Hay que acercarse a Jesús, contar con él, darle parte en nuestra vida, dajarle que nos ayude. No puede hacerlo, si no le dejamos,si no cotamos con él. Él es el pan de vida.
Cuando Jesús dice que él es “el pan de vida”, no se refiere solo a la Eucaristía (aunque también). Se refiere a toda su persona: a sus palabras, sus enseñanzas, su manera de actuar, su amor por todos…
Cuando en el Padrenuestro decimos: el pan nuestro de cada día dánosle hoy”, no pedimos solo el alimento material para nuestro cuerpo; pedimos todo aquello que nos alimenta como personas, que además de cuerpo, tenemos, también, espíritu, que hay que alimentar. Pore eso Jesús se llama “pan de vida”.
