Dios siempre nos escucha
“Para inculcarles que hace falta orar siempre sin cansarse, les contó (Jesús) una parábola: —Había en una ciudad un juez que ni temía a Dios ni respetaba a los hombres. Había en la misma ciudad una viuda que acudía a él para decirle: Hazme justicia contra mi rival. Por un tiempo se negó, pero más tarde se dijo: Aunque no temo a Dios ni respeto a los hombres, como esta viuda me está fastidiando, le haré justicia, no vaya a acabar a golpes conmigo. El Señor añadió: —Fijaos en lo que dice el juez injusto; y Dios, ¿no hará justicia a sus elegidos si claman a él día y noche? ¿Les dará largas? Os digo que les hará justicia pronto. Sólo que, cuando llegue el Hijo del Hombre, ¿encontrará esa fe en la tierra?” (Lc. 18, 18)

Este relato, es una de las partes del Evangelio que me causan más consuelo, y me ayudan a mantener con más fuerza la confianza en Dios.
Hay no poca gente que afirma, con convencimiento, que Dios no las escucha, a pesar de sus reiterados ruegos. Y se quejan porque Dios no las escucha. He conocido muchas personas que mantienen esa actitud.
Este relato del evangelio, comienza diciendo: “Para inculcarles que hace falta orar siempre sin cansarse, les contó una parábola. “Siempre y sin cansarse”. Es decir sabiendo que nos escucha, y confiando en él.
En la parábola, aparece un juez, que acaba atendiendo a la tenaz viuda, para que le deje en paz, ya que no deja de molestarle rogándole, una y otra vez, que la escuche y atienda.
Naturalmente, este no es el caso de Dios. Él nos atiende, no porque le molestemos con nuestras peticiones, sino porque es nuestro Padre, y no puede menos de escuchar a sus hijos, como hacen los buenos padres y madres.
Y Jesús dice: “¿Y no hará, Dios, justicia a sus elegidos si claman a él día y noche? ¿Les dará largas? Os digo que les hará justicia pronto”.
“Hacer justicia”, significa, atender, escuchar, prestar atención.
Claro que no siempre concede, o se cumple, lo que pedimos, o de la manera que lo pedimos. Y en ese caso, dicen: No me escucha. Si te escucha, pero no te da lo que le pides, porque no entra en sus planes, que es hacerte el bien. Muchas veces pedimos cosas que creemos que son las mejores, pero resulta que Dios, que lo sabe todo, incluso las consecuencias de los hechos, y que nos quiere como nadie, no nos concede lo que pedimos, porque no nos conviene, aunque nos parezca mentira. Pero seguro que te ha escuchado y te dará, por otra parte, otra cosa que sea buena para ti o para la persona por quien pides. ¡Cómo vamos a saber más que Dios! ¡Cómo vamos a ser más buenos que Dios!
Pero hace falta tener mucha fe, para fiarse. Por eso termina el evangelio diciendo:”Pero cuando venga el Hijo del Hombre, ¿encontrará esta fe en la tierra?
