II Domingo de Cuaresma
(Levantaos, no tengáis miedo)
Al hacer el comentario del Evangelio que acabamos de leer en este domingo segundo de Cuaresma, hoy me voy a fijar en dos palabras o dos breves frases del relato.
Como los apóstoles estaban llenos de miedo por lo que estaban viendo y oyendo, y aterrorizados habían caído por tierra, Jesús se les acerca, y tocándoles, les animó a levantarse, con estas palabras:”Levantaos, no tengáis miedo”. Algunas veces, en nuestra vida, tenemos motivos para sentir miedo: el paro, una enfermedad grave, un revés en los negocios, una grave amenaza, no saber resolver de manera acertada una situación difícil que nos afecta gravemente, etc. En esos casos necesitamos que alguien nos eche una mano, nos aliente y nos ayude. Pero para que valga la pena esa ayuda se debe tratar de alguien competente y preparado, que nos pueda ayudar. No sirve cualquiera, por muy buena voluntad que tenga, si no es capaz de ayudarnos.
Jesús se acercó a los asustados discípulos y les animó a levantarse, a perder el miedo, porque creían en él, y se fiaban de él. Ya tenían experiencia de haber sido animados y ayudados en otras ocasiones. Sabían de su eficacia y de su poder.
Este pasaje nos invita a confiar en el Señor, cuando estamos agobiados, titubeantes, o llenos de miedo, por cualquier circunstancia.
La otra palabra que me gusta destacar es la que se oye al escuchar la voz del cielo:”este es mi Hijo amado: escuchadlo”. Sólo el que escucha a Jesús, puede estar seguro de estar en el buen camino. Sólo el que escucha a Jesús puede tener la certeza de actuar conforme a lo que Dios quiere. En el Evangelio, en su lectura y reflexión, encontramos esas palabras de Jesús que podemos escuchar. Siguiendo sus palabras, no nos equivocaremos. Porque si tenemos caídas, escucharemos palabras de perdón; si hay desaliento, oiremos palabras de ánimo; si hay desorientación, escucharemos palabras que nos devuelvan la serenidad y la paz interior. Jesús es capaz de tocarnos y decirnos: ánimo, levántate; y tenemos su palabra para no perdernos en su seguimiento.
