Bendito trabajo.
Principios de Septiembre. El debate es inevitable. No se habla de otra cosa. La vuelta de las vacaciones. Empieza el colegio, los exámenes. Hay que volver al trabajo y retomar la rutina.
Para muchos supone enfrentarse a una vida de stress, agobios, atascos, jefes y compañeros a los que había olvidado durante las vacaciones.
Cuando veo lo difícil que supone esta situación intento ponerme en la situación del otro y establecer una empatía por su “mala suerte” al tener que volver a trabajar.
Pero es inevitable mirar para mi ombligo y reconocer que “ya quisiera yo tener que volver a trabajar”, aunque suponga stress, atascos, madrugones, enfrentarme al jefe y a los compañeros.
Y creo que lo mismo opinan más de cuatro millones de desempleados en España.
Por alguna razón (o quizás por que “nunca estamos contentos con lo que tenemos”) queremos seguir trabaj
ando aunque no sea lo que queremos hacer.
Queremos alargar las vacaciones, pero les aseguro que se hacen eternas sin una rutina laboral que organice el día y el tiempo. Queremos seguir estando en la playa, tomar el sol, beber cervezas acostarnos tarde. Pero, a día de hoy, eso no está remunerado, así que no tendríamos como pagar este ocio. Y sobre todo queremos vivir una vida en la que las vacaciones sean todo el año. Pero entonces ya no serían vacaciones. ¿De qué descansaríamos?
Yo por mi parte trato de dar consuelo a los que tienen que volver al trabajo y a las clases. Intento dar ánimos a aquellos que, tras varios meses, siguen buscando trabajo y no pierden la esperanza, por que es lo que les queda. Y por supuesto intento estar alerta, ya sea buscando trabajo o para saber estar sin trabajo, que por lo visto para algunos es como estar de vacaciones.
