“He visto la aflicción de mi pueblo”

manifestacionMe hubiera gustado estar en la manifestación del sábado en Madrid junto a los agricultores, al mundo rural… me hubiera gustado que estuviera allí presente la Iglesia y haber escuchado palabras de ánimo y solidaridad de  los obispos para con ellos… de todos modos allí estuvieron curas de pueblo, rurales… de los que comparten camino y vida con los agricultores, y saben de su aflicción, de su dolor y de su esperanza. Me alegra recibir esta lectura creyente realizada por Enrique, cura de Miajadas la “capital europea del tomate”.

De Dios se supo a raíz de un conflicto laboral”, comenta G.Faus. Nuestra gente escucha con la boca abierta los prodigios que acompañaron aquella gesta del Exodo, hoy les ayudamos a entender que la mayoría son recursos literarios para explicar gráficamente que Dios estuvo siempre de su lado, del lado de los desasistidos. Así traté de contemplar la marcha de medio millón de campesinos y ganaderos en Madrid. “He decidido bajar…” y termina ordenando: “así pues, ve…”. Voy comprendiendo que la manera que tiene Dios de liberar a los empobrecidos, es impulsarnos para que nos pringuemos nosotros en esa liberación. Los teologos medievales decían, con frase feliz, que “cuando Dios trabaja,el hombre suda”.

                                                        Lo que está desmantelado es algo más que un

 sector económico. Es una forma de vida. Y allí, junto a las arterias donde la gente guapa celebra los eventos deportivos, la gente de los pueblos, “aceituneros altivos” como los de Miguel Hernández, y los cerealistas, los de la fruta, los de la leche, los del tomate…a los   que, hoy más que nunca dada la precariedad en la que se les ha condenado a vivir, se les podría preguntar:

¿quién amamantó los olivos?. Vuestra sangre, vuestra vida, no la del explotador que os sepultó en la pobreza”  . Esta pobreza arruinada, tozudamente, nos muestra la pérdida de 124.000 empleos en los últimos cinco años, los costes de producción han subido un 34%, mientras que lo que ellos producen está peor o más bajo que antes, la consecuencia es que la renta de los campesinos ha bajado un 26%. Sin embargo la agricultura está aportando a las industrias de alimentación que supone el 12% del PIB, del cual dependen más de millón y medio de puestos de trabajo.

   En el caminar multitudinario y ruidoso se me agolpaban vivencias y sentimientos, sobre todo recordaba cómo se ha pervertido la finalidad de las leyes, que ahora sirven para legalizar la injusticia: “¿Acaso galopan los caballos por las rocas o se ara con bueyes el mar?. Pues vosotros habéis cambiado el derecho en veneno, y el fruto de la injusticia en amargura.”(Am.6,12). Y trataba de darme cuenta que estos dichos de los profetas, suimportancia no estaba en el contenido, sino que las hacían en nombre de Dios.

Iba acompañando a mi pueblo. Antes nos habríamos puesto a encender velas y esperar de la providencia divina mejor suerte, hoy en un contexto de secularización, no significa desaparición del aspecto cristiano, sino tratar de contemplar a Dios en esa realidad, de ayudar a tantos militantes cristianos, que iban en esta gran procesión, a situarse en ese lugar teológico desde el que se descubre a Dios en los empobrecidos, en los rurales vencidos y excluidos de la tarta nacional –somos el 35% en nuestro pais- , llegando a descubrir cómo la llamada “ausencia” de Dios se convierte en una “presencia” que denuncia la injusticia y pide un compromiso permanente. Estas son las velas encendidas que se “consumen” a la manera del grano de trigo que cae en la tierra.

El colorido de la marcha no ocultaba en ningún momento el sufrimiento de los aplastados por los altos precios de producción y los ínfimos precios de su sudor, hinchados luego por los especuladores de la rapiña.

Quienes rezamos todos los días con los salmos, tropezamos con la llamada constante: “Dios se pone en pie para juzgar, para salvar a los humildes de la tierra” (Sal 76,10); “que el Señor hace justicia a los oprimidos, que da pan a los hambrientos” (Sal.146,7); “que levanta del polvo al desvalido, alza de la basura al pobre” (Sal.113,7).  

 ¡Cuánto me hubiese gustado ciertos gestos o cercanía de nuestros pastores, tan prolíficos en otras manifestaciones en  esas mismas calles, incluso con su presencia, ahora no hayan tenido ni una sola palabra de aliento!. ¡Me duele que el mundo rural esté tan lejos de la preocupación y cariño de nuestros obispos.!

Al día siguiente, domingo, celebramos la eucaristía con gente que vive del campo y le aman. No se nos ocurrió una oración mejor para dar gracias a Dios porque nos ayuda a amar nuestra historia y por eso queda salvada, que: “…Él hace proezas con su brazo: dispersa a los soberbios de corazón, derriba del trono a los poderosos y enaltece a los humildes, a los hambrientos los colma de bienes, a a los ricos los despide vacíos…” (Lc.1,51-53).

  1. El texto del Ex está a la raíz misma de la teología de la liberación, monseñor Romero lo citó algunas veces.
    La jerarquí eclesial está lejos del pueblo pobre y campesino porque así estaba también en tiempos de Jesús, porque eran malos pastores, como los de ahora.
    Si el gobierno aniquila el campo, aniquilará a nuestra propia tierra y a nuestro propio país, porque hemos sido y somos un países eminentemente agrícola. Antes o después la madre tierra castigará todas estas fechorías, lo cual traerá no pocos sufrimientos para todos.
    ¿Cuándo nos daremos cuenta que el dinero y los objetos no se comen?. ¿Qué hará falta para que el hombre recupere el sentido de lo sagrado que existe en la madre tierra y en cada objeto inanimado o animado?
