El Dios de la vida (7)
Dios no tiene fronteras.
“Id por todo el mundo y proclamad la buena noticia a toda criatura” (Mc 16,15)
Un sacerdote que estuvo , antes de nacer yo, en Granja de Torrehermosa, optó por la compañía de Jesús y se marchó para evangelizar en el Perú. A veces, venía por el pueblo y visitaba una familia que guardaba su cáliz de ordenación; yo niño y monaguillo, oía y veía todo aquello como hazaña y leyenda, y alguna vez seguro que soñaría con eso de ir al Perú y lo descartaría como algo imposible. Hoy, sin embargo, os puedo asegurar que Dios no tiene fronteras y te regala mucho más de lo que tú deseas. Han sido nueve veranos en los que he sido agraciado con la estancia en el Perú. Ahí he descubierto a Dios sin fronteras y ricamente pobre. El Perú me ha enriquecido sobremanera, me ha metido dentro deseos de Evangelio, de fraternidad y universalidad de un modo nuevo; el trabajo con los seminaristas de allí, el descubrimiento de la compañía de Jesús comprometida con los pobres de la tierra y con el presbiterio diocesano, el encuentro con nuestros compañeros sacerdotes que trabajan allí, la realidad del pueblo, los compañeros de viaje.. Ha sido realmente impresionante este regalo de Dios para mí.
Siempre tendré la puerta abierta hacia aquella realidad ,y he gozado de un modo especial cuando embarqué con un grupo de catorce personas, jóvenes de la universidad de extremadura la mayoría de ellos, para irnos a conocer el Perú, para dejarnos hacer por aquella realidad, otro regalo de la providencia, con un grupo de personas que hoy comparten también esta mesa después de haber compartido mucha vida, aquello fue un inmersión en la vida del pueblo campesino peruano, de la Iglesia que le da vida y quiere convertirse para vivir desde y con los pobres. Es impagable lo que hemos vivido en aquella realidad y lo que ha supuesto para nuestras realidades personales y comunitaria. Ahora nos movemos con otras claves: Bajando al Sur, subiendo el sur, banca ética, consumo justo, ingenieros sin fronteras, entreculturas, medicus mundi, 0,7%… por un mundo más justo. Cuántas ganas de un mundo más justo y más fraterno.
¡ Bendito sea Dios por haberme enriquecido con la vida y la esperanza del Perú!
