“Via crucis del alcohólico”
Recordáreis a mi amigo Enrique, del movimiento rural cristiano que es monitor en la asociación de ayuda a alcohólicos… él nos ayuda a entrar en el via crucis… de preparación a la semana santa.
VIA CRUCIS DEL ALCOHÓLICO
Esta aproximación a la realidad actual de los hechos acaecidos a un tal Jesús, vistos en los enfermos alcohólicos y familia, no dejará de ser una reflexión actualizada de estos días de Semana Santa.
1.- El alcohólico en el Huerto de los Olivos
Es la hora triste del alcohólico. Hasta sus amigos le han dejado. Todo es oscuro para el, todo es angustia. Como el desesperado, como el que se ahoga, el alcohólico se agarra a la copa para salvar tanta soledad.
2.- El alcohólico es condenado por…
Es como un pelele. Y es acusado de bebedor, desastre, irresponsable, borracho. Y es la sociedad quien dice: ¡sea crucificado!. Ya no es… el buen padre, el buen trabajador, el compañero… ya es un esperpento. Es verdad que la gente al condenarle no sabía que era persona, pero el desconocimiento, aunque aminora la culpa no cambia la realidad. Y hasta algún Pilatos le abandonó a su suerte lavándose las manos.
3.- El alcohólico es flagelado y presentado
Ahí está recibiendo los golpes. Los golpes de una sociedad que le engañó, le hizo creer que el alcohol le hacía el más simpático, el más fuerte, el más importante… y los azotes de la vida terminan cayendo sobre sus espaldas. Y el alcohólico se coronó de espinas. Su cabeza era fuego, su rostro se fue desfigurando. Y así se presentó ante todos: Ecce Homo, un pobre hombre “tan desfigurado tenía el aspecto que… no tenía apariencia humana(Is.52,14). Ecce Homo. El que sufre porque no puede dejarlo, el que es objeto de burlas y menosprecio, el que no se defiende.
4.- El alcohólico carga con su cruz
Poco a poco, casi sin darse cuenta se la fue poniendo sobre sus hombros. Era una cruz muy grande, enorme, porque era la cruz de la dignidad humana enterrada. Y en el camino cayó una, tres y tantas veces. Materialmente caído besando el sufrimiento humano.
¿Quiénes son hoy, los que construyen estas cruces? Debe ser un buen negocio a una juventud inducida en búsqueda de un hedonismo metido entre las cejas. Y, ¿quienes son hoy, los encargados de poner esta cruz sobre los hombros? No hace falta ir a tiempos de Pilatos. Quizás, sin darnos cuenta, tú y yo contribuimos, porque nos lavamos las manos, pensando que “yo soy de los buenos”.
5.- El alcohólico encuentra a las mujeres
Encontró a su mujer, a su madre, a sus hijos. Ellas se dejaron llevar por su corazón, que es el que menos engaña. Su mujer, esposa y madre, puso el consuelo en la cruz del alcohólico. No le importaron lo que decían, ni las condenas, ni las repetidas caídas, lo que le importaba era que su marido era bueno y que ahora está sufriendo espantosamente. Por eso está cerca, hace suyos los sufrimientos.
Mientras haya mujeres con corazón podemos abrirnos a la esperanza. Ella y sus hijos vivían el vía crucis en el silencio, la cercanía y las lágrimas. Esas lágrimas se convertirán en ríos de salud.
6.- El alcohólico es ayudado por el Cirineo.
El Cirineo es una buena noticia en toda esta dura historia. El hombre de la solidaridad. Cuántos, como Simón de Cirene, piensan en los demás y en las situaciones más desesperadas, surgen con su mano amiga, la palabra animosa, el gesto comprensivo y el hombro solidario para ayudar a llevar la cruz del alcohólico. Este Cireneo se llama hoy Asociación de Alcohólicos Rehabilitados, que surgen por aquí y por allá en nuestra Extremadura, en tantos caminos humanizadotes en los calvarios personales.
Y el alcohólico algo notó: que la cruz no era tan pesada. Algo le dijo el Cirineo al oído: “ Te quiero, te quiero, te quiero como eres”. Algo se conmovió, algo empezó a nacer en el. Alguien puso una rosa en la cruz. Y es que el amor hace milagros: decidió resucitar, recobrar la vida.
7.- Resucitó
Ya solo queda esperar el tercer día, el que viene después de la muerte. Fue reviviendo en su corazón, camino de la Asociación, su calvario: el despojo de todo, de su dignidad, fue cosido a la cruz de su enfermedad. El dolor de la vergüenza, de la burla. El dolor de las sonrisas, de los comentarios. El dolor del fracaso, del abandono, de la impotencia de querer y no poder. El dolor de su mujer o de su madre, compenetrándose con su pasión. La mujer del alcohólico no tiene cruz propia, pero ella está clavada en la cruz de su marido o de su hijo. Ahora mira agradecido a su mujer o a su madre, porque es como si volviera a dar a luz una vida nueva. En estos pensamientos va… y llegó a la Asociación. Fue el lugar donde, a tantos como él, le curaron las heridas, enjugaron las lágrimas y guardaron silencio. Ahora era distinto, el sollozo contenido por encontrar tantas manos para levantar la losa de su sepulcro se hizo palabra entrecortada y dijo con alegría inusitada: “He resucitado”. Su mujer, cómplice en el dolor y compañera de gozo, también musitó: “Hemos resucitado”. Un compás de espera todavía, hermano crucificado, que ya estás a punto de celebrar tu Pascua.
