Esto, ¿no te indigna?
Son muchos los que en España se dicen católicos: unos viven sinceramente su fe; otros están alejados de la práctica religiosa y otros pasan olímpicamente de ella. Todos tienen en común una fe, unas tradiciones religiosas y unos valores cristianos recibidos de sus mayores.
Muchos de estos católicos se indignan cuando se enteran de que en unos colegios se quita el crucifijo, que en otros no se deja poner el belén navideño; arremeten contra los autobuses que llevan propaganda atea o ponen el grito en el cielo cuando una campaña del Ministerio de Sanidad anima a los jóvenes a “saber usarlo”. Seguro que razones no les faltan para reaccionar así y manifestar públicamente sus discrepancias. Están además en su derecho como ciudadanos.
Pero yo me pregunto: ¿ Dónde están estos padres católicos y bien intencionados cuando se trata de educar cristianamente a sus hijos y de transmitirles su fe religiosa?
¿ Sus críticas tienen fuerza ante los que no lo son porque están avaladas por el ejemplo de vida y la práctica de su fe?.
Muchas veces la realidad no va muy de acuerdo con la indignación. Ahí van algunos ejemplos:
+ En los centros públicos los inscritos en clase de religión en secundaria y
Bachillerato son los menos: el 44% en secundaria y el 36,8% en bachillerato
¿Esto no te indigna?
+ En la catequesis os han explicado a los padres que es un proceso que continúa más allá de la comunión y que lleva también la preparación al sacramento de la confirmación. Según las estadísticas de las parroquias, los que se preparan a recibirla han bajado considerablemente.
¿ Esto no te indigna?
+ En estudios recientes España está casi a la cola en lectura de la Biblia. La
Ignorancia de los textos sagrados y los conocimientos que tiene la mayoría de
su propia fe es preocupante.
¿ Esto no te indigna?
+ El índice de asistencia a la eucaristía dominical y otras celebraciones religiosas es bajísimo.
¿ Esto no te indigna?
Se puede seguir así poniendo más ejemplos de la incoherencia de muchos .A la hora de indignarnos, creo que deberíamos empezar por hacerlo con nosotros mismos por lo poco coherentes que somos.
