La vocación de Nacho
Nacho Domínguez Alcántara, nace en Sevilla el 16 de marzo de 1981. Vive en el barrio de los Remedios. Su familia es de clase media- alta, hasta que se da la separación de los padres, a partir del cual empiezan a tener problemas económicos (entre otros). Él vive con su madre, hermano y hermana mayor. Estudia en el Colegio San José (SS.CC); allí es donde conoce a los que van a ser la pandilla “inseparable” de amigos. Los estudios no le interesan, y llega a repetir un año. Los cursos siguientes los pasará muy justo, pues la preocupación estaba centrada no en su futuro, sino en pasarlo bien los fines de semana. Comienzan a hacer pequeñas fiestas en algunas casas de campo, solo para ellos, pero terminaron siendo fiestas multitudinarias. Un autobús alquilado, algo de comida, mucha música, chicas y alcohol en una casa de campo, aunque también se llegó hacer en la discoteca. Ése era uno de sus mayores centros de atención. A pesar de todo, el interés por la religión estaba presente y también, por los pobres, por aquellos que sufrían injustamente. Este interés fue creciendo al conocer a Juan Manuel de Mula, que fue su profesor de religión y ética nada más ser trasladado de S. Fernando; un año más tarde sería catequista de confirmación, no solo de él sino de toda la pandilla. Nacho empieza a conocer cada vez más la vida y el sentido del cristiano, y toma conciencia de que en la suya hay una total incoherencia. Empieza a hacer acompañamiento con Juanma, a ir a Regina Mundi (una casa que recoge a todo tipo de enfermos que están abandonados o en situaciones de especial dificultad), y más tarde también a dar clases de apoyo a la parroquia de S. Benito. Cuida la oración, asiste al grupo de confirmación y va a las convivencias propuestas en el grupo. Todo ello son medios que el Señor puso para llamar a Nacho a la Vida Religiosa en la Congregación de los Sagrados Corazones. Va dejando una forma de vida para ir tomando otra, con un horizonte claro que ponía en juego toda su persona.
Realiza la selectividad y en septiembre deja a la familia, a los amigos,… para entrar en la Congregación como prenovicio. Le trasladan a Málaga, a él y a tres personas más. Es una comunidad prácticamente nueva. Allí empieza a vivir y descubrir la riqueza de la vida religiosa: La comunidad, la misión desde el ser religioso, la propia congregación y sus hermanos y hermanas, la fuerte experiencia de ser sostenido y llevado por el Señor, y la primera vez también que le trasladan. En esta ocasión entra en el noviciado, de nuevo a Sevilla. Allí vivió como experiencia más importante la de tener el corazón cogido por Cristo y la de consagrar toda la vida al servicio de los otros en la Congregación. Un ritmo fuerte de oración, de reflexión, el tiempo de soledad, el conocimiento del carisma de la Congregación, de sus obras y un cuidado bueno por parte del maestro de novicios (que era Silvio), son algunos de los medios que permiten esto. En septiembre Nacho hace sus votos temporales con convencimiento (y siendo consciente de su fragilidad personal), entusiasmo y alegría de corazón.
Su próximo traslado es a Madrid; allí realiza los estudios de teología y trabaja en la parroquia de S. Víctor y el Colegio Mirasierra, junto con otros estudiantes que viven su misma etapa. El hecho de vivir con personas cercanas a su edad es una nueva experiencia comunitaria para él, y será no solo el maestro sino los propios estudiantes, los instrumentos que Cristo ponga para cuidar su vida religiosa y ser para él apoyo, fortaleza y gozo.
Una persona no con grandes cualidades que ofrecer pero sí con pasión por Cristo y una alegría profunda, es la que hoy sigue en la Congregación ya ordenado sacerdote y sirviendo en la parroquia Virgen del Camino de Málaga.
