En verano con Jesús
Cuando arrecia el calor veraniego, quiero compartir con los amigos del blog esta reflexión que he hecho en el boletín parroquial del Buen Pastor, de San Fernando (Cádiz). Aprovecho para desearos un buen verano… con Jesús.
Tiempo de verano. Las actividades parroquiales ordinarias se paran. Las comunidades y grupos van terminando el curso. Brota espontáneamente la acción de gracias por todo y por todos los que formamos la gran familia parroquial y por la gente de nuestro barrio. Por delante, convivencias y campamento para los jóvenes. Y la eucaristía continúa. Cada sábado, cada domingo, cada día… el Señor nos llama a su encuentro.
Sobre la eucaristía hemos hablado en varias ocasiones en el consejo pastoral de la parroquia. Hay que cuidar la liturgia, saber bien lo que se celebra, la animación de los cantos… pero, ¿cómo motivar para que la eucaristía sea el centro de la comunidad parroquial? No es cuestión de echarle en cara las ausencias a unos o criticar determinadas actitudes a otros. Lo esencial es haberse encontrado con Cristo en la celebración. Vivir ese encuentro como una experiencia fundante de la vida que luego te lleva a considerar la eucaristía como algo imprescindible en tu existencia. ¿Podríamos decir: sin eucaristía no puedo vivir? Pues quien lo diga está en la línea del encuentro y del seguimiento.
¿Cómo suscitar encuentros, qué hacer para que se descubra la eucaristía? Igual que cuando uno va a ver una buena película y luego cuenta lo que le ha gustado, “enganchando” a otros a ir a verla, así debería pasar con la vivencia eucarística, ¿o es que quizá nos dé vergüenza o hayamos perdido algo de “sal de la tierra” -nunca mejor dicho aquí en San Fernando-?
Claro, nos falta contar con el Espíritu que, a veces, remueve, inspira y provoca caminos de encuentro. Él nos ayudará de la mejor manera a ser comunidades con sabor a pan y a convite del Reino. En esta línea, me gustaría compartir con vosotros la preparación que está recibiendo una mujer de nuestra Parroquia que se está preparando para recibir la eucaristía. Lo va a hacer de una forma discreta, sin darle publicidad, acompañada por su familia. Pero me gustaría que rezáramos por ella. Durante años ha sentido cómo le faltaba algo en su vida. Años deseando recibir a Jesús y, por unas cosas y por otras, aún no lo ha recibido. Es bonito ver ese interés, esa frescura, esas ganas de encontrarse con el Señor. Y cuántas historias más habrá a nuestro alrededor de personas que viven con pasión su encuentro con Jesús.
Ojalá el tiempo de verano sea un tiempo propicio, no un obstáculo para celebrar la eucaristía. En verano, también el Señor es imprescindible en nuestras vidas.
