Así dice el Señor
Una de las cosas prácticas y saludables para la vida espiritual, en esta cuaresma, podría ser leer las lecturas de la Palabra de Dios, de las Eucaristías de cada día. Sería una buena preparación a la gran Pascua. Para aquellos que no pueden y no lo hacen, sencillamente, traigo esta cita del profeta Isaías, correspondiente al viernes después de Ceniza. No necesita gran comentario, porque es clara y diáfana como el agua. De todas formas, recomiendo la lectura diaria. ¿Qué creyente no tiene una Biblia en casa, o al menos el Nuevo Testamento? Sería muy práctico poder disponer de un librito, pequeño y económico, donde se encuentran las lecturas de cada día (al menos el evangelio). Se puede encontrar en cualquier librería religiosa.
Dios habla por la boca del profeta, así: “El ayuno que yo quiero es éste: abrir las prisiones injustas, hacer saltar los cerrojos de los cepos; partir tu pan con el hambriento, hospedar a los pobres sin techo, vestir al que ves desnudo… Entonces clamarás al Señor, y te responderá; gritarás, y te dirá:”aquí estoy”. El texto es más largo, pero basta, por ahora, con esta perla.
“Las prisiones injustas”. Hay muchos, encarcelados en su propio yo, muchos privados de libertad por el acoso injusto. Muchos que no han descubierto que ser libres es una de las grandes aspiraciones humanas, y que Dios nos ha creado con libertad, para que libremente vayamos a él.
“Hacer saltar los cerrojos de los cepos”. Mucha gente esclavizada por los poderosos, salarios injustos y ruines, precios desorbitados, casas o chabolas destartaladas, cuerpos destrozados por la droga con que otros se enriquecen, disminuidos físicos o psíquicos mal atendidos, ancianos solos en su triste soledad…
“Partir tu pan con el hambriento”. Alguien ha dicho que es mejor dar que recibir, ¿quién se lo cree? Compartir con generosidad, y no sólo las migajas. Hay muchos hambrientos, de pan, de justicia, de cariño, de cultura…
“Hospedar a los pobres sin techo”. ¡Cuánto desahucio! ¡Cuánto indigente entre cartones las noches de invierno! ¡Cuánto ambulante sin sentido por no tener un techo donde guarecerse! Y nosotros, bien guarecidos y cómodos en nuestros sofás y en nuestros confortables colchones.
“Vestir al desnudo! Hay desnudos de ropa, de mantas.. Pero hay más desnudos (o desnudados) de derechos, de dignidad, de oportunidades, de trabajo, de…
“Entonces clamarás al Señor, y él te dirá: aquí estoy”. Hay gente que se queja de que Dios no le escucha. ¿No se preguntan por qué no escuchan ellos a Dios? Dios se te hace presente (“aquí estoy”) si tú te haces presente en sus hijos marginados. Ya lo dijo Jesús: “Todo lo que hiciereis a cualquiera de los más débiles, a mí me lo hacéis”.
