¿Nos dice la Biblia cómo es el Cielo?
Una de las preguntas que los creyentes nos hacemos es: ¿cómo es el cielo? Y nunca encontramos respuesta. Cada uno emplea su imaginación, pero por más que la empleamos, recibimos una respuesta que a nadie convence. Buscamos y buscamos dónde se nos puede dar alguna luz que nos descubra el misterio, pero en ese terreno es más la oscuridad que la luz.
Y seguimos buscando. ¿Encontraríamos en la Biblia alguna respuesta convincente? Y nos responde el sabio y piadoso italiano del s.XVI, Galileo Galilei con estas palabras:”La Biblia nos enseña a llegar al cielo; pero no cómo es el cielo”.
Unas palabras sabias, y muy acertadas, como corresponde a su autor.
La pregunta sobre cómo será el cielo, sigue rondando, de vez en cuando, en nuestra mente, pero acabamos por desecharla, debido a la imposibilidad de encontrar la respuesta.
No sabemos prácticamente nada del futuro. Incluso la respuesta que pudiera ser la más acertada, cuando decimos: “el cielo es estar con Dios”, no nos aclara nada, pues tampoco sabemos nada sobre Dios, que nos haga comprender lo que significa estar con Él. Sólo cuando podamos vivir la experiencia del encuentro, comprenderemos lo que es el cielo, y un poquito lo que es Dios. Mientras tanto, seguiremos imaginando, sabiendo que nunca, aquí, llegaremos a comprender el misterio. Sabemos que seremos felices, pero aún esto, no sabremos que es, hasta que lo experimentemos en nosotros mismos, ya que tampoco sabemos qué es la felicidad total, porque nunca la habremos sentido en este mundo de limitaciones y contradicciones que restan la plenitud a la felicidad, que siempre es parcial y limitada.
