Los ministerios de la Vivienda suelen inventarse leyes con las que pretenden frenar la especulación y la escalada de los precios de los inmuebles y facilitar el acceso a los más desfavorecidos. Los seguidores de Jesús tenemos todos los metros cuadrados que queramos en un lugar increíble, cálido, con un banquete continuo, con un manantial termal que brota hasta la vida eterna… Así que… qué más podemos pedir, ¿dónde mejor podemos encontrar un techo para cobijarnos y vivir fraternalmente?
La casa de la cascada
Frank Lloid Wright levanta en 1936 una casa junto a las rocas y el sonido del agua de la pequeña cascada de un arroyo. Para muchos la casa de la cascada es símbolo de una arquitectura empeñada en cristalizar un diálogo de armonía con la naturaleza. Y la imagen de esta construcción nos ayuda a destacar el movimiento producido por el Amor del Manantial, el Corazón de Jesús, que brota continuamente, sin agotarse nunca. Benedicto XVI invita a acudir al manantial del costado traspasado “para alcanzar el verdadero conocimiento de Jesucristo y experimentar más a fondo su amor”. Del costado traspasado salen “sangre y agua”, los sacramentos que dan la Vida, que nos ayudan “a reconocer la multitud de dones de gracia que de ahí proceden… La fe, comprendida como fruto del amor de Dios experimentado, es una gracia, un don de Dios” (Benedicto XVI).
Un lugar donde cimentar nuestra vida
“Cimentemos nuestras almas sobre la Piedra del Corazón de Dios, de tal forma que estemos instalados allí como sobre una columna inmutable”. El Buen Padre nos da la mejor recomendación para saber dónde hemos de edificar con solidez nuestra casa. Y ese lugar es el Corazón de Dios, de donde no se nos podrá mover pase lo que pase: “Cayó la lluvia, vino la riada, soplaron los vientos y arremetieron contra la casa; pero no se hundió, porque estaba cimentada en la roca” (Mt 7, 25). La vida nos presenta vaivenes, crisis, inseguridades, enfermedades, etc. Si nuestros cimientos están en Cristo la casa no se caerá jamás por más que, movimientos sísmicos de cualquier índole, pretendan asolar nuestra construcción.
Y la puerta de esta casa está siempre abierta, a la espera de que lleguen aquellos que se han perdido por las cunetas de la vida, como sucedió con el pródigo de la parábola. Dios abre su casa para nosotros y, sin embargo, el Hijo del Hombre no tiene un lugar donde reclinar la cabeza. El Corazón de Cristo mira continuamente por sus hijos, las necesidades de éstos son las necesidades de su Corazón, especialmente las de sus hijos más pobres y arrinconados por la injusticia del mal, las estructuras de insolidaridad y el egoísmo humano. De ahí que “fuera de su corazón no hay más que amargura” (Buen Padre).
