La Pascua florida y la Pascua granada
Nos encontramos celebrando la gran “Pascua florida”, estos cincuenta días que van hasta la fiesta de Pentecostés.
“Así llamaba el lenguaje popular a las fiestas pascuales. El antiguo catecismo había recogido la expresión cuando prescribía a los creyentes “comulgar por Pascua florida”. Es un nombre plenamente justificado, porque la Pascua coincide con la estación en la que tras el letargo invernal, la naturaleza vive, de forma repentina y casi inesperada, la explosión de color, formas, perfumes, vida y belleza que denominamos primavera. “Pascua florida” une en perfecta armonía la fiesta cristiana, litúrgica, y la experiencia natural, profana, que subyace a ella”.
La Pascua Florida celebraba la resurrección del Salvador, pero también era el momento en que el pueblo celebraba la resurrección de la naturaleza y de la vida. Y este triunfo de la naturaleza y la vida, la Iglesia supo incorporarlo al triunfo de la Vida del Resucitado.
La Pascua florida termina en la fiesta de Pentecostés (a los cincuenta días), que también se la llama “Pascua granada”. Porque así como la primera Pascua coincide con la primavera, el tiempo de las flores, así la Pascua granada coincide con el tiempo de los frutos, la flor ya granada, convertida en fruto.
La cruz queda atrás. Ahora es el Resucitado el centro de toda la fiesta. Es la fiesta más grande, de los cristianos, porque la Resurrección de Cristo supone la gran victoria sobre la muerte, y sobre el pecado. Y es garantía de nuestra propia resurrección. Además de estos cincuenta días pascuales, la Resurrección del Señor se celebra todos los domingos del año. Domingo significa, día del Señor; pero del Señor resucitado.
Durante todo el tiempo pascual, el Cirio, bendecido en la gran Vigilia de la noche, permanece encendido en todas las Eucaristías, como presencia del resucitado, luz del mundo. Después solo lucirá en los bautismos y en los entierros.
El final de la Pascua de Resurrección, da paso a Pentecostés, la venida del Espíritu Santo, y el comienzo de la Iglesia.
Además de estos cincuenta días pascuales, la Resurrección del Señor se sigue celebrando todos los domingos del año. Domingo significa, día del Señor; pero del Señor resucitado.
