Una entrevista atípica
La Entrevista es una conversación entre dos, en la cual uno es el que pregunta (el entrevistador), y otra responde (el entrevistado). Pero esta “entrevista” es totalmente “atípica”, como aparece en el título. Aquí no hay dos personas. El entrevistador y el entrevistado es la misma persona, pero juega los dos papeles. Ignoro si esto se ha hecho alguna vez, pero yo lo voy a intentar.
— Félix, ¿cuántos años tienes?, si se puede decir?
— Se puede decir. Tengo todos los que Dios ha querido concederme hasta ahora. Bastantes menos que Matusalén, que se dice en la Biblia que vivió 969 años. Si te sirve de pista….
— No has sido muy explícito, pero es una pista. ¿Puedes ser más concreto si te pregunto de dónde eres?
— Nací en Burgos, cerquita de la catedral. Pero es donde menos he vivido, por lo que me considero “ciudadano del mundo”.
— ¿No se enfadarán los burgaleses al renunciar a tu lugar de origen?
— Espero que sean más inteligentes que todo eso. No olvides que Castilla tuvo siempre, a lo largo de su historia, una vocación universal.
— Te has salido por la tangente. Pero dime: ¿en qué tierras has vivido más tiempo?
— De pequeño, en Extremadura. De adulto, en Andalucía; aquí llevo ya cuarenta años.
— Entonces puedes decir que eres casi andaluz, ¿no?
— Casi. Pero no renuncio a mi vieja tierra. Lo de “vieja” (lo digo por Castilla la Vieja), y sigo siendo ciudadano del mundo. En todas partes donde he vivido, me he encontrado a gusto, he querido a sus gentes, y he tratado de asumir su identidad.
— Dejemos tus orígenes y estancias. ¿Desde cuándo quisiste ser religioso y sacerdote?
— En la mente de Dios, supongo que lo fui siempre. En mi mente: primero fue la ilusión de imitar a los grandes misioneros, después vendrían los años de estudios, con una vocación más ideal que realista. Y por fin, a los 18 años (los de entonces) decidí entrar en el Noviciado de la Congregación de los Sagrados Corazones. Siguieron más años de estudio y de clarificación de mi vocación … y llegaron los votos perpetuos, y la ordenación sacerdotal en la catedral de Madrid.
— Desde entonces, supongo que ha llovido mucho, y habrás estado en muy diversos lugares y tareas. ¿Es así?
— Así es. Mi primer destino fue nuestro Seminario Menor, como formador y profesor. Después fui rector del mismo, y director de un colegio. Era todavía muy joven. Y desde entonces, he pasado por diversos cargos en la Congregación, y en parroquias al servicio de las diócesis de Jerez (la primera), Sevilla, Málaga, San Fernando, sólo interrumpida por unos años como Maestro de Novicios de nuestra orden.
— Con las pistas que me has ido dando, saco la conclusión de que andarás por setenta y pico. ¿Acierto?
— Aciertas. Un pico de cigüeña, muy largo. Una buena edad para hacer recuento, y pensar menos en los años pasados, y más en los que puedan quedarme. Pero sin angustia. Con la serenidad que da la confianza en el Dios Padre misericordioso.
— Y ahora ¿qué? Porque supongo que estarás jubilado. ¿Me equivoco?
— Sí, te equivocas. A los 65, como todo el mundo, entré en el gremio de los “pensionistas”, pero no de los “jubilados”. Sigo en activo, trabajando en la parroquia. Algún día, la edad o la muerte me jubilarán. Y el descanso será eterno.
— Gracias, Félix, por este trocito de tu vida que has permitido compartir.
— Gracias a los que estáis dispuestos a leer o escuchar este pequeño flas de una vida, ya larga, e interesante sólo para mí.

Está claro que esta entrevista ha sido bastante atípica, pero no deja de ser una entrevista conmigo mismo, entrevistador y entrevistado. Acaso esto puede dar paso a un nuevo estilo literario.
