El Reino de Dios, en las parábolas

planta_saliendo_de_una_semilla-1280x8001De las muchas y variadas parábolas que Jesús enseñó en su predicación del Reino, entresaco, hoy, estas dos: la de “El hombre que echa simiente en la tierra”, y la de “El grano de mostaza”. Ambas hablan de la fuerza expansiva de la palabra de Dios, y del Reino de Dios.

Un labrador siembra la semilla en la tierra. Y, de momento, nada más tiene que hacer; si la tierra es buena, si hace buen tempero, la semilla irá creciendo y dando su fruto. Lo mismo ocurre si una ama de casa siembra en una maceta unas semillas de flores. Cuando llegue su tiempo, surgirán los tallos, las hojas y las flores. Sólo necesita que la tierra acoja a las semillas con unas mínimas condiciones de humedad, de abono…

Así ocurre con la Palabra de Dios. Cuando cae en el corazón del hombre, y es acogida con interés, irá haciendo posible el Reino de Dios; irá creciendo por su propia fuerza de expansión.

En el caso de la parábola del grano de mostaza, se dice que es la más pequeñas de todas las semillas. Y, sin embargo, crece y llega a hacerse un arbusto alto y suficientemente fuerte para que puedan anidar en él las aves del cielo.

La semilla, la Palabra de Dios, tiene en sí misma la potencialidad de crecer. Se puede aplicar el axioma: “Bonum est diffusivum sui” (“el bien se difunde por sí mismo”), atribuido al  Pseudo-Dionisio, y tomado como lema por alguna universidad.

De la misma manera que la semilla lleva en sí misma la fuerza de expandirse, así, también, el bien, por sí mismo, tiene la fuerza de extenderse. Y la palabra de Dios es esa semilla y ese “bien” que puede llegar a todas partes, si no hay otra fuerza que la contrarresta.

El corazón humano, puede ser buena tierra: acogedora de la semilla; y capaz de hacerla crecer y desarrollarse. Pero también puede ser tierra dura, sin la humedad necesaria, incapaz de acoger la semilla en buenas condiciones. Y la Palabra de Dios, muere; es decir no es acogida, no fructifica, no se expande; rechaza las condiciones del Reino.

Y lo mismo que la tierra, el campo, hay que trabajarlo, hay que prepararlo para que pueda dar la cosecha esperada, así también, la semilla de la Palabra de Dios, tiene que encontrar acogida, aceptación, y buena disposición.

Pero no basta que sea bien acogida en un principio; necesita cuidados. Las heladas, el excesivo sol, la falta de riego, o las `plagas de insectos, pueden acabar con aquella débil planta que había comenzado a crecer.
