Hay demasiados gallos en el mismo corral. Y para más “inri”, son gallos de pelea. Todos dicen querer proteger a sus gallinas, pero la “verdad del cuento” la sabe todo el mundo, porque se manifiesta descaradamente. Todos quieren gobernar: ¿por qué será? Dicen que es un servicio al pueblo. Pero no se dan cuenta de que ese “pueblo” no quiere gobernantes que se busquen a sí mismos o luchen por el predominio de su partido. No; no lo quiere.
Hay un “ego” escondido en lo más recóndito de algunos líderes, que es capaz de mover todos los mandos para salir a flote, en una sociedad, a la que intentan ningunear. No es tan claro que busquen el bien común, sino más bien el bien particular, disfrazado de generosidad y entrega.
Por una parte, nos encontramos con el “no, es no”; por otra parte está el “yo soy el más votado”. Cada uno tiene sus razones. Habría que repetir aquí la frase más famosa del filósofo, Pascal: “el corazón tiene sus razones, que la razón no conoce”. Cuando uno se deja llevar solo del corazón, sin emplear la razón, se expone a no actuar con objetividad.
Luego están los partidos comparsa, que aspiran, si fuese posible, a tener algún sillón o vara de mando. ¡Otra generosidad por su parte!
Y mientras, los verdaderamente interesados, los verdaderamente sufrientes, el pueblo llano, sin saber si, al fin, habrá gobierno, sin saber si habrá nuevos comicios, sin saber nada de nada, porque no se cuenta con ellos, sino para que hagan lo que se les manda. Los verdaderos protagonistas, sin protagonismo.
La política, que debería ser un verdadero arte, el arte de organizar la sociedad para el bien común, se convierte en algo deleznable y desvalorizado. Es significativa (aunque no sea verdad) la frase que tantos repiten, refiriéndose a los políticos: “todos son iguales”. Lo cual es un signo de desprecio y desconfianza.
