III Domingo del Tiempo Ordinario
(Jesús anunciaba la Buena Noticia, y curaba las dolencias del pueblo)
La parte del Evangelio que hoy hemos leído y escuchado, comenzaba así:”Cuando Jesús se enteró de que Herodes había mandado encarcelar a Juan Bautista, dejó Nazaret y se trasladó a Cafarnaúm”. Jesús no era un temerario, ni se exponía a ser encarcelado, también. Tenía una gran tarea que cumplir. Y parte de esa tarea la ha señalado el evangelista, cuando dice (lo hemos oído):”Desde entonces, empezó Jesús a predicar diciendo: arrepentíos porque está llegando el reino de Dios”. Una llamada a la conversión, es decir, a tratar de eliminar todo lo que en nuestra vida no es conforme con lo que Jesús va sembrando con su palabra y con su vida.
Nos dice el Evangelio que “Jesús iba anunciando la Buena Noticia, y curaba las dolencias del pueblo”. Y a eso nos invita: a dar esa buena noticia del Reino de Dios: la fraternidad humana, la solidaridad, la atención al más débil, la paz tan necesaria, la justicia, la esperanza en el Dios que nos ama, y la felicidad…
El evangelio de hoy, nos cuenta, también, la llamada de los que serían los primeros discípulos: dos parejas de hermanos (cuatro pescadores).
A Pedro y a su hermano Andrés les dice:”Veníos conmigo y os haré pescadores de hombres. Y ellos dejaron las redes y lo siguieron”. Y a Santiago y Juan, los llamó también; y ellos dejando la barca y a su padre Zebedeo, lo siguieron”. No creo que ocurriese tal como lo narra el evangelista. No es la manera de actuar de Jesús.
Yo creo que lo que se quiere resaltar, es la prontitud de responder a la llamada de Dios, cada persona con su vocación, siempre que sea una llamada, una vocación, de Dios.
Dios nos llama, nos invita a actuar de cierta manera, unas veces se trata de cosas más fáciles y cotidianas, y otras veces con cosas menos fáciles. Pero, en todo caso, hay que responder con prontitud y decisión, sabiendo que el mismo Dios nos dará su fuerza para responder a esa llamada más o menos difícil. El mismo que te hace la llamada, te da la fuerza para responder con generosidad y prontitud.
