Todavía necesitamos la parroquia
Hace unos días, Carmen Pellicer estuvo en nuestra Parroquia del Buen Pastor, para dar una charla sobre la transmisión de la fe. Fue un motivo de encuentro de muchas personas de la parroquia y también de San Fernando. En su columna en la revista 21-rs de este mes de febrero, Carmen la dedica a reflexionar sobre la vigencia de la parroquia en la actualidad. A nosotros, claro, este artículo nos ha encantado y lo compartimos con los amigos del blog.
En San Fernando esta semana, celebramos un encuentro de la comunidad parroquial del Buen Pastor de los Sagrados Corazones, para reflexionar sobre la transmisión de la fe en la familia, la escuela y la parroquia… donde sea que podamos, que no estamos para discutir quién tiene que llevarse los honores de la sacramentalización. Para compartir dificultades pero también reavivar la esperanza y compartir con creatividad nuevos caminos para anunciar el evangelio.
Lo de la parroquia en las ciudades resulta bien complicado… cada acera de mi calle pertenece a una distinta… No sé si es una suerte que tantos templos coexistan en territorios tan pequeños y las misas de los domingos se anuncien todavía por cuarto en cuarto de hora. Esto de la territorialidad parecía tener sentido en aquel gran congreso del 88 sobre la parroquia evangelizadora. Hoy las cosas han cambiado bastante. En la precariedad de muchas vidas, más que casa de la comunidad cristiana, necesita ser hogar transeúnte de creyentes, generoso para los que están de paso, y flexible con los que se acercan por múltiples razones. Hogar, que se cimenta en la fuerza de los lazos de los testigos que se entregan diseminados en las muchas tareas y encuentros, que, a veces, casi es de uno en uno, al estilo de Emaús … últimamente incluso virtuales… Otras se congrega lo que hoy es ya una multitud…
Me fui con algo de envidia… ¡sana, eso sí!… La acogida calurosa de unos hacia otros; los corros sin prisa en dejar el templo; la complicidad de las edades tan distantes pero cercanas; las religiosas, también de los Sagrados Corazones, que, con pasión apasionada, cuentan de la vida y el espíritu de los ancianos con los que rezan y conviven; el párroco y la comunidad de religiosos que hablan, más que orgullosos, agradecidos de los frutos que, en medio de la sencillez y la precariedad de los medios, el Señor les regala… Vi como allí donde la parroquia es, como decía Juan XXIII, fuente de la aldea, sea la global o la más solitaria que muchos viven en el medio de la masa, marca una profunda diferencia e irradia una vida que sigue siendo una palabra potente para aquellos que se acercan.
