Pero ahí están inconmovibles y rancias (además de mal gusto): vestidos de novia o de marinerito (¿); numerosos invitados (la mayoría no creyentes o no practicantes); banquete y gastos insoportables para muchos, y exagerados para todos; regalos en los que los niños piensan de antemano, valorándolos afectivamente más que el mismo hecho del encuentro con Jesús-Eucaristía. En definitiva: fiesta social por todo lo grande y fiesta religiosa por todo lo pequeño.
Contra todos estos excesos y sin-sentidos se viene luchando desde las parroquias y desde la catequética… pero con resultados nulos en general, aunque siempre hay alguien más concienciado y con más sentido común, que procura dar importancia sólo a lo que la tiene (con gran provecho para la vida de fe del niñ@).
¿Qué se puede hacer en esta situación cuasi-pagana, en la que la P. Comunión se hace porque es costumbre, es bonito, es una ilusión de los niños (y más de los padres)? Creo que no existe una panacea que resuelva el conflicto por arte de “birlibirloque”. Es una cuestión de educación religiosa y cívica. Y lo que procede es seguir educando con mucha paciencia, esperando que algún día puedan ir cambiando las cosas. Tal vez invitar a pequeños grupos de padres que estén dispuestos a secundar, con sentido cristiano, las orientaciones que la mayoría no es capaz de descubrir. Pero se necesita toda la paciencia del santo Job, para no desanimarse, y toda la comprensión y compasión de Dios para comprender y aceptar la ignorancia o la deformación de la mayoría de nuestros fieles. Y luego aplicarnos el dicho:”A Dios rogando, y con el mazo dando”; es decir: oración, e insistencia en las orientaciones. Y a esperar (no de espera, sino de esperanza). Creo que en todo ello, como en otras muchas cosas, ha tenido una buena parte de culpa, la Iglesia que ha ido consintiendo, poco a poco, lo que ya no puede parar. Y en el pecado, lleva la penitencia, como se suele decir.
