Para orar
Aunque está claro que para orar no hace falta usar “oraciones hechas”, no cabe duda de que, a veces, nos vienen bien como soporte o como inspiración. No todas sirven igual, pero hay algunas que pueden ayudarnos más que otras. No sé de dónde me ha llegado esta oración, que ahora quiero ofrecer a los lectores, por si les ayuda en su oración en alguna ocasión. Se puede ir desmenuzando, y ayudarnos a profundizar en nuestro diálogo con el Señor. Si a alguno no le sirve, la tira a la papelera, y aquí no ha pasado nada. Dice así:
“Gracias, Señor, porque llamas a mi puerta y me ofreces una nueva oportunidad para acoger el misterio de tu muerte y resurrección. Ayúdame a hacer silencio, quiero escuchar tu voz. Toma mi mano, guíame al desierto, donde nos encontraremos solos Tú y yo. Necesito contemplar tu rostro; me hace falta la calidez de tu voz. Caminar juntos… callar para que hables Tú.
Me pongo en tus manos, quiero revisar mi vida, descubrir en qué tengo que cambiar, afianzar lo que anda bien, sorprenderme con lo nuevo que me pides. Ayúdame a dejar a un lado las prisas, las preocupaciones que llenan mi cabeza; barre mis dudas e inseguridades; ayúdame a archivar mis respuestas hechas. Quiero compartir mi vida y revisarla a tu lado.
Me tienta la seguridad, el “sabérmelas todas”, tener las cosas demasiado “claras”, no necesitarte. Me tienta el activismo: hacer, hacer, hacer. Y me olvido del silencio y la oración. Me tienta la incoherencia, hablar mucho y hacer poco, mostrar apariencia de buen cristiano, pero adentro, donde Tú y yo sabemos, hay mucho que cambiar. Me tienta ser el centro del mundo; que los demás giren a mi alrededor, que me sirvan en lugar de servir. Me tienta la idolatría, fabricarme un ídolo con mis proyectos, mis certezas y conveniencias, y ponerle tu nombre de Dios. Me tienta la falta de compromiso. Es más fácil pasar de largo ante las necesidades de los demás, que bajarse de la caballería y hacer lo del samaritano de la parábola. ¡Hay tantos caídos a mi lado, Señor… y yo me hago el distraído! Me tienta la falta de sensibilidad, el no tener compasión y acostumbrarme a ver que otros sufren. Pero, Señor, en el fondo no puedo engañarte. Me tienta separar la fe de la vida. Me tienta no indignarme evangélicamente por la ausencia de justicia y solidaridad. Me tienta tener tiempo para todo, menos para lo más importante; y lamentarlo, pero no hacer nada para cambiarlo. Me tienta, Señor, el desaliento, lo difícil que se presentan las cosas. Me tienta la falta de esperanza y confianza. Me tienta el dejarlo para mañana, cuando debería empezar a cambiar hoy mismo. Me tienta creer que te escucho, cuando en realidad me escucho a mí mismo.
Dame luz, Señor, para distinguir tu rostro; despójame de lo que me ata, y pon a prueba mi fe y mi amor, para vivir fiel a Ti”.
