La Resurrección

resurreccionCon la Resurrección termina el drama de la crucifixión y muerte violenta de Jesús de Nazaret, aunque queda en el recuerdo como parábola de una entrega sin igual, como la expresión más grande de un amor sin límites.

El dolor de la muerte se convierte en el gozo de la nueva vida del Crucificado, que es ahora el Resucitado.

Cuarenta días de preparación a la gran celebración de la Pascua de Resurrección. Toda una vida para agradecer a Dios la resurrección de su Hijo y la garantía de nuestra propia resurrección. La fe en Cristo Resucitado es la base del Cristianismo y es también el asiento de la esperanza cristiana. Cristo no solamente resucitó, sino que prometió a quienes creyésemos en Él, tener una vida eterna, resucitar. Él lo dijo en forma clara y solemne: «Yo soy la Resurrección y la Vida, el que crea en mí no morirá para siempre”. Por eso cantamos: ¿Dónde está, muerte, tu victoria?

No importa que el sepulcro esté o no vacío. Lo que la fe nos asegura es que Jesús no está allí, porque ha cambiado de espacio, para marcharse junto al Padre, para abrirnos las puertas de ese cielo prometido.

El ángel les dirá a las piadosas mujeres que van, de mañana, al sepulcro para embalsamar el cuerpo de Jesús:”No está aquí, ha resucitado”.

Todo bautizado, por la acción del agua y del Espíritu, entra en esa dinámica de muerte y resurrección a imagen de Cristo: la muerte cotidiana del Viernes Santo, y la resurrección de aquel “primer día de la semana”.

“Tomás, que era discípulo, no estaba; no creería sin ver lo que sus compañeros le narraban.

Ocho días después, Jesús dijo a Tomás que comprobara. Tomás tocó y creyó.

Señor mío y Dios mío, es la plegaria que pronunció el incrédulo por la gloria que ante él se desvelaba.

Las almas que, sin ver, en Él confían, son bienaventuradas”.
