La frase de Jesús que completa el título de este breve escrito, es:”así os envío yo” (Juan 20,21). Y es, también, el lema de este año para la jornada del DOMUND. Jesús nos envío a todos los que queramos aceptar su invitación.
¿A qué o a dónde nos envía Jesús? ¿A qué o a dónde envió el Padre a su Hijo? Sin duda alguna, el envío es: a una misión, tanto a Jesús como a nosotros. ¿Qué misión? La misión de Jesús era la de Evangelizar. Me explico. Evangelizar, para Jesús, es manifestar una muy “Buena noticia”: darnos a conocer mejor al Padre, que tanto nos ha amado y nos sigue amando; ayudarnos a vivir el Reino (o reinado) de Dios entre los hombres; servir de modelo en el comportamiento hacia Dios y hacia el prójimo; señalarnos con claridad quién es el prójimo; liberarnos, y enseñándonos a liberarnos nosotros mismos, de las ataduras y cadenas que nos paralizan, y roban el gran don de la libertad; cómo hacer realidad la fraternidad universal (consecuencia de la paternidad divina); hacer posible el respeto por la dignidad de todos los hombres sea cual sea su color, religión o situación social; revalorización de lo esencial en el proyecto cristianos; y compartir el Cuerpo de Cristo en la Eucaristía y en la comunión de la fraternidad entre todos los hijos de Dios (que somos todos).
Para nosotros, ¿cuál es la misión encomendada por Jesús (“así yo os envío”)? La misma de Jesús, con el estilo de Jesús, con la ayuda de Jesús, trasparentado a Jesús, y en el nombre de Jesús.
En esta jornada del Domund, se nos recuerda de nuestra condición de “misioneros” (personas que tienen una misión). El encargo es más que una mera invitación, es una exigencia del hecho de seguir a Jesús. No vale aquello de “ser cristiano, pero no practicante”, que tantas veces se oye decir. En circunstancias concretas, se podrá prescindir de ciertas prácticas concretas, pero no se puede prescindir de “ser misioneros”, portadores de una encomienda ineludible.
“La misión universal implica a todos, todo y siempre. El Evangelio no es un bien exclusivo de quien lo ha recibido; es un don que se debe compartir, una buena noticia que es preciso comunicar. Y este don-compromiso está confiado no solo a algunos, sino a todos los bautizados, los cuales son <linaje elegido, nación santa, pueblo adquirido por Dios> (1P. 2,9). La Jornada mundial de las misiones no es un momento aislado en el curso del año, sino que es una valiosa ocasión para detenerse a reflexionar y ver si respondemos a la vocación misionera, y cómo lo hacemos”… (Benedicto XVI, para el Domund de 2011).
No estamos solos. Las palabras de Jesús lo avalan: “Id y haced discípulos de todos los pueblos, bautizándolos en el nombre del Padre, del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo, y enseñándoles a guardar todo lo que os he mandado. Y sabed que yo estoy con vosotros todos los días, hasta el fin del mundo” (Mt. 28, 18-20)
