Laudato Si Mi Signore
(ALABADO SEAS MI SEÑOR)
Durante mis vacaciones vacaciones, he podido leer la Carta Encíclica del Papa Francisco, cuyo tema gira en torno a “El cuidado de la Casa Común”, y que lleva por título: “Laudato si” (“Alabado seas”). Esta referencia está tomada del “Canto de las Criaturas” de San francisco de Asís.
Son más de doscientas páginas (aunque depende de la edición).Como dice el mismo Papa, con esta Encíclica “intenta especialmente entrar en diálogo con todos, acerca de “nuestra casa común” (nº 3).
No aconsejo leerla toda de un tirón (ni de varios tirones). Se puede atragantar un poco, ya que, a pesar de ser un tema interesante, y, sobre todo, importante, resulta demasiado profundo y hasta puede parecer repetitivo. Es preferible leerla poco a poco; y, al mismo tiempo, ir concienciándose de la importancia del tema y de cómo lo trata el Pontífice.
Por otra parte, es interesante constatar cómo una Encíclica de un Papa, se preocupa, en su totalidad, de un tema como este, que afecta al mundo entero, no solo a la Iglesia, a la cristiandad, a los teólogos, como ha podido ocurrir en otras muchas encíclicas.
De hecho ha tenido una muy buena acogida universalmente. Y es natural que así haya sido, por tener relación directa con esa “casa común” de que habla Francisco, que es el mundo en que vivimos y todo los que con él tienen relación. Un mundo que hemos recibido como regalo, y no hacemos aprecio de él, o no lo cuidamos, ni conservamos en buenas condiciones. La degradación de nuestros mares, y nuestros ríos, la contaminación del aire que respiramos, nuestra madre tierra talada, quemada, explotada,, etc, es un desprecio hacia el Creador, y una irresponsabilidad para los que nos seguirán.
Está muy bien y es necesario que nos mentalicemos a nivel global. Las autoridades deben tomar muy en serio el tema. Pero, a nivel personal y particular, cada uno debe hacer lo posible por no contaminar, no destruir… Antes al contrario, debemos procurar ir perfeccionando (re-creando) lo que se nos ha entregado, para nosotros y para los que vengan detrás.
