Las tonterías de nuestros próceres
Hay una imagen, un tanto pueblerina, de conceder a los políticos estatuto de personas importantes con derecho a calle o a pequeña estatuilla. Sentarse en los bancos de la Carrera de San Jerónimo, (perdón los laicistas), parece como sentarse en el Parnaso de los listos.
Conviene desmitificar su importancia e incluirles en la nómina de los trabajadores y medir sus méritos por la capacidad de sensatez que manifiesten, ya que hoy un diputado es una pieza más de la maquinaria de los partidos y que en muchos casos su trabajo consiste en pulsar el botón que el director de orquesta de turno le impone con un gesto visible y explícito. No hay lugar a la libre decisión.
Es como el camarero que sirve los platos que otos cocinan, dicho con todo el respeto a los camareros de verdad.
En los espacios de tiempo de que gozan, o sufren, tediosos y largos, mientras se van desgranando los menús que previamente se han ido cocinando en las selectas cocinas genovesas o ferrazanas, nuestros diputados tienen tiempo para hacer crucigramas, ojear u hojear los periódicos del día o echar un no disimulado sueño con derecho a bostezo.
En estos ratos de soledad sonora, es cuando a más de uno se le ocurren brillantes y originales ideas, al margen de las robotizadas en las cocinas centrales.
En uno de estos sueños le vendría al diputado por Granada, José A. Pérez Tapias la piadosa idea de indemnizar a los descendientes de los moriscos expulsados por la maquinaria represiva de los Reyes Católicos (perdón los laicistas) o de alguno de nuestros Austrias.
La idea no es del todo original porque está en la línea d menús,- “memoria histórica” y “Alianza de las Civilizaciones-, del Cocinero Mayor.

Las tonterías de nuestros próceres pueden ser infinitas, aunque reconozco que tienen todo el derecho a decirlas.
