La homilía de César

pescadores[1]Me acaba de llegar nota del blog de mi compañero Cesar y me adentro en él descubriendo la homilía que hizo el último domingo en los Valles.. dos pueblos pequeños en los que está encontrando la vida. La comparto porque es un gusto saborear el evangelio con un cura de pueblo. Yo disfruto haciendo el estudio del evangelio con él y los otros compañeros.

Ésta es la homilía de este domingo; me he sentido feliz meditando Lc 5, 1-11; me he sentido feliz preparando estas palabras y también dirgiéndome a la gente en la Eucaristía. Ahí va.

Vivir es como pescar; ser cristiano es como pescar. Una tarea en la que a veces no se coge nada y en la que es preciso perseverar.

El Evangelio siempre habla de nuestra vida, o encontramos siempre nuestra vida en el Evangelio. Hoy vemos a Jesús “faenando”… Realmente la vida es una faena, una tarea, una misión; y ser cristiano, seguir a Jesús, pues lo mismo.

VIVIR ES COMO PESCAR.
Vivir no es como comerse el pescao puestecito en la mesa… Vivir es más bien como pescar. Nada en la vida nos lo dan hecho; todo lo tenemos que luchar. Vivir es una tarea, una briega, como la de los pescadores: difícil, trabajosa, uno se moja, requiere madrugar o trasnochar, esfuerzo físico, pasar frío… Vivir, como pescar, es en buena medida tener paciencia, resistir, esperar y confiar.
Porque como a los pescadores del Evangelio, a menudo la vida se nos pone cuesta arriba, y no sacamos nada, trabajamos sin resultado e incluso sufrimos malas pasadas…
Decididamente el texto habla de la vida: vivir es como pescar.

TODAS CAMARA 643SER CRISTIANO ES COMO PESCAR,
puesto que seguir a Jesús es vivir como vivió Él, y vivir es una tarea, como el trabajo del pescador. Ser cristiano no es saber o pensar… es más bien hacer, es bregar para que el Reino, el sueño de Dios, sea realidad a nuestra alrededor. Eso cuesta mucho esfuerzo, muchas luchas, muchos desvelos… y muchos fracasos. Se pregunta uno más de dos veces qué hace pescando, si vale la pena creer con las cosas que se ven, si no es hora de abandonar la barca… Decepciones como la de aquellos pescadores, que tras una noche entera de trabajo volvían con las manos vacías… ¡vaya faena!

Pero el relato no acaba ahí. Nos da claves para pescar, nos enseña a “vivir bien”, a “tener fe”, cosas equivalentes para los cristianos. Vivir bien supone:
· estar con Jesús (Él se sube a la barca)
· estar con los demás (los de la otra barca vinieron a echar una mano), pescar juntos, si no, no se coge nada. Se vive y se es cristiano en comunidad
· escuchar la llamada de Jesús y hacer las cosas por Él, “por tu palabra”

La llamada nos llega de las cosas de todos los días; son los gritos silenciosos de quienes necesitan nuestro amor, nuestro servicio, nuestra generosidad. Dios está en la realidad, en los demás, en el interior de la vida… y nos llama… “ponte a pescar… yo estaré contigo… sin miedo, sin desfallecer…”.
Me voy a poner a pescar, Señor, por tu palabra; se que mientras esté faenando seré feliz, independientemente del resultado. Y, si cojo un pez, lo compartiré con el que no tiene, o sea, contigo.
