Silvia y sus abuelos

EN EL DÍA DE LOS ABUELOS

fotos últimas 001Hasta hace un mes mis vecinos de al lado eran Rocío y Pedro con sus hijos Pedrito, María y una nueva criatura que viene de camino. Esta criatura  esperada ha hecho que ellos tuvieran que plantearse buscar una nueva vivienda mayor porque vivían en un apartamento de dos habitaciones y han adquirido una en un pueblecito cerca de Badajoz donde van a tener más espacio.  Desde entonces su apartamento estaba vacío. Lo habian vendido a los vecinos de arriba que querían traer a sus padres a vivir aquí.

Hoy he llegado a casa y he visto alboroto, sin estridencias, la puerta estaba abierta y había personas en el pasillo… he entrado en mi casa tras saludar rápidamente, pero una vez dentro he vuelto a salir, porque he pensado que ya estaban llegando los nuevos vecinos y tenía que saludarlos.

Allí ha salido corriendo Silvia, una niña que viven en el piso de arriba y que nació hace seis años cuando estallaban los silvia huera 004cohetes de la noche de San Juan, y me ha llevado a la puerta para que viera lo que ella había hecho para sus abuelos. Les había preparado la bienvenida, un buen mural y un haz de globos de colores adornaban la entrada. Ella estaba felíz porque sus abuelos venían a vivir a este piso.

Ha sido así, Isabel y Antonio, se han traído a los abuelos que vivían en una barriada próxima a este apartamento para estar juntos con independencia. La niña pequeña está llena de gozo y de alegría por esta situación, la imagino corriendo de arriba a abajo todos los días. Gritaba y saltaba y besaba a los abuelos.

Ante este hecho no puedo reprimir mis deseos de lectura creyente:

IMG_1875Isabel y Antonio se traen a los abuelos, se hacen prójimos de ellos acercándolos lo más posible a su casa para estar juntos, para compartir la vida, ahora que ellos comienzan a ser dependientes y necesitan mayores cuidados.  Bendito sea Dios por los  hijos samaritanos que se desviven y se acercan lo más posible a los padres ancianos para darles la vida ,la compañía y el consuelo.  Bendigo a Dios por poder estar cuidando a mi madre, y por mis hermanos que todos los fines de semana hacen de buenos samaritanos para que yo esté libre, y por Milagros que sustituyó a Querube y está siendo alma de mi madre en sus cuidados tiernos y amorosos.

Los abuelos me muestran orgullosos el mural de su nieta y los besos que ella les da. Qué alegría la ternura que dan los abuelos a los nietos y cómo estos sin pensarlo saben devolverla gratuitamente, acercándose  a los mayores con el deseo de quererlos y alegrarlos.  IMG_1461Y bendigo a Dios, por la memoria de mis abuelos y su ternura para conmigo y lo que hice por ellos, con los maternos convivimos hasta su muerte; pero sobre todo bendigo por mi padre y mi madre que han sabido ser abuelos de la ternura y de la generosidad gozando inmensamente de todos los nietos, y por mis sobrinos que los han amado, y que ahora les toca derramar ternura sobre esta abuela que tiene paralizado casi todo menos el corazón que sigue siengo grande, alegre, gracioso, generoso y esperanzador…

Enseguida hemos hablado de dejarle la llave de casa como antes la tenían los otros vecinos, ellos lo han aceptado y han comentado que su vecino hoy le han devuelto la llave y han llorado de emoción al separarse. Te bendigo padre por todos los vecinos que hemos tenido en la vida, primero los de “sevilleta” en aquella calle que desembocaba a bocajarro en la puerta principal de Iglesia y su torre,  después en Cervantes, 17 donde siempre vivieron los abuelos y fuimos para cuidarlos y allí está nuestra casa; después en Cheles, Olivenza, y ahora en Badajoz… cuántas personas, vidas, experiencias compartidas en la fraternidad,en la amistad y el cariño…

Cuánto me ha aportado orar desde este pequeño mural de la nieta a los abuelos, ahora toca querer a estos nuevos vecinos.

Yo ya tengo una sobrina-nieta, Lidia es un encanto y está siendo la alegría de la familia. La bisabuela resucita cada vez que la traen a casa, quiere que se la pongamos encima para sentirla y quererla.

Pepe, me ha encantado esta entrada: sabes dar el toque humano (y creyente) sobre los hechos más simples, pero no por simples insignificantes. ¡Qué bueno recordar a los que han dado tanto por nosotros! ¿Qué sería de nosotros sin todo lo que hemos recibido de nuestros padres y abuelos? ¿Qué será del futuro si los olvidamos? Sí, he dicho del “futuro”. Porque si minusvaloramos lo que hemos recibido y echamos en el saco del olvido a quienes tanto nos han dado, estaremos construyendo una civilización autosuficiente y soberbia, capaz de endiosarse hasta su propia autodestrucción. ¡Ojalá nos convenzamos todos de que sin atención a nuestros mayores no hay futuro!

  3. abuelos y vecinos… las relaciones cada vez más distantes en un mundo que necesita “projimidad”. Quizá el mejor regalo de la infancia sean los besos de los abuelos.

    Hasta ahora no he tenido tiempo de contestarte, y a veces por falta de ese don preciado, distancio demasiado las visitas a Dña. Dolores a la que queremos de corazon y a quien Silvia nombra muy amenudo cuando le riño si hace demasiado ruido con sus juguetes y ella siempre me pregunta: ¿mama Dolores esta dormida? sobre todo cuando quiere ponerse todos los zapatos que encuentra con tacon…

    Gracias por todo, recuerdo tu bendicion sobre su cabecita el dia que subisteis a conocerla… ojala que ella y mi hijo Antonio, junto a mi marido y a vosotros como vecinos, seais todos el amparo de mis padres: Manuel y Maria ahora que nos necesitan de verdad y yo pido a Dios que me de fuerzas para afrontar todo lo que ha de venir, siempre, siempre con fe y sabiendo que hay personas buenas como vosotros que estan ahi, anonimas pero cercanas, la verdad que somos una buena comunidad. Rezo por todos los abuelos y los padres y madres del mundo por lo que recibimos
    de ellos, todo bondad y tambien por Pedro y Rocio con sus niños para que les vaya bien en su nuevo hogar. Gracias nos has hecho llorar.

  5. Bien cierto es, lo que recibes en tu familia es lo que más tarde aportarás a las personas que te rodeen; puedo afirmar que he crecido rodeada de cariño y sobre todo recuerdo con ternura una infancia llena de felicidad donde la mayor ilusión era ¡¡ir a ver a los abuelos al pueblo!!.
    Los paseos en el parque de la mano de mi abuelo Gabriel, todos los veranos me llevaba a la piscina, los juegos, carantoñas… inmensos gestos de alegría en todo momento; la acogida, disponibilidad, cariño de mi abuela Dolores…
    El buen sentido de humor, la sociabilidad, cercanía de mi abuelo Manolo, la humildad, la ternura, amor de mi abuela Antonia…
    Y como no… las numerosas despedidas desde la calle diciendo un adiós con el brazo que en realidad significaban un… ¡hasta pronto queridos nietos!
    Puedo afirmar sin lugar a dudas que los abuelos dan su amor de manera completamente incondicional. Desde mi experiencia… cuando mi abuelo Gabriel faltó, la vida de mi abuela Dolores cambió, mis padres decidieron que yo fuera a pasar las vacaciones con ella, fueron de los mejores momentos de mi vida, hemos pasado tanto tiempo juntas que podría decir que para mí mi abuela es como una segunda madre, conoce perfectamente como soy y hasta hace poco me daba consejos de abuela. Siempre dice que soy como ella, tendrá razón porque todo el amor que ella me ha dado ahora lo estoy devolviendo en grandes dosis.
    Me siento reflejada en Silvia, pues mi abuela estuvo viviendo muchos años con nosotros y para mí era la misma ilusión cuando entraba por la puerta de casa me tiraba a darle miles de besos y abrazos y mi abuela como no, ¡nos daba tales besos que te dejaban medio sorda!.
    Espero que Silvia disfrute de sus abuelos como yo tuve la misma oportunidad. Ahora mi abuela está muy impedida, pero sigue teniendo las mismas fuerzas para dar su cariño, eso nunca cambiará.
    Por eso quiero agradecer a todos mis abuelos y a ella en especial por todo lo que han hecho por mí, Dios vive en el corazón de cada abuelo gracias a la alegría de sus nietos, ¡este es el milagro de la vida!…

  6. Your eats look yummy! I always want to dupiaclte recipes from meals I eat out! I love PF Changs China Bistro and they have some good vegetarian eats there that I have attempted to make at home like veggie lettuce wraps! I make them with tofu instead of chicken, although they now carry those there too! Happy Mothers Day!
